Damn this was closer than it should’ve been. Nothing against Asllani, as I think he will eventually become a very good player in his position, but right now I would be happier to have a more reliable back up for Calhanoglu.

when we were 2-0 up had some chances for 3, but didnt take them, this match could have been easily 4-0 or 2-2.

That was a hard fought win but we have these kind of matches once in a while. Glad our complacency didn't cost us points at the end.

We probably lose our winning streak against Bologna, but I don't care. We have a much more important match against Atleti afterwards, so we better come prepared for that match.

We certainly ain’t getting points if we rest some of our best players, Bologna are currently one of the most inform teams, if we show up like this we will get a cutter.

To get points against them requires that we play our strongest available team. Hopefully this game was a one off and hopefully it can be used as a lesson that we cannot rest on our laurels but every game needs to be taken seriously.

Hopefully the lads got their lesson, and realise they aren’t invincible after all.
