Beautiful display. Viola looked gassed from their midweek UECL game but I’m not taking away anything from our performance. The game could have ended 7-0 if Thuram was a bit more clinical.

De Vrij has been a colossus so far. Words I never thought I’d say again.

Yes, indeed he did.

Were we saving energy in the first 20 minutes? Because it sure looked like it, it's like we intentionally let them have the ball, but then we started having zoomies all over the pitch. It was glorious.

As posted by someone, it is true that Thuram did not seem so clinical but those were tough chances as well. Credit should also be given to him for being there to get those chances. Only the third game but it could be seen that Thuram can surprise us. The pass to Martinez, even if it looked simple, was inch perfect. Not to forget his effort, which resulted in penalty for us. Kudos Thuram!!

Martinez's performance has really been a matured one, with no unnecessary dives. I am really starting to like Martinez - Thuram duo and hope they only do better as season goes by.

De Vrij had a top notch performance, along with Di Marco, Bastoni, Mihki and most of the players. Let us hope that they keep on performing well. Wonderful non-pazza 3 points.

Somehow I wonder if they watch the game, how the hell did Cuadrodo get such ratings he was literally the worst of the bunch, that one pass should not influence on his ratings that much. It was a 5 rating performance at best and that’s me being friendly

I thought he was alright from what I saw..got into the mix and really made himself felt. He came on when it was fairly dusted already but showed a couple of good things and will have done well to further get appreciation from the team and fans

The less time Dumfries is on the ball (preferably in the opponent’s third), the better contribution he makes for the team because his lack of awareness worsen when he starts holding the ball too long.



(This is a typical example from today when he made the decision to dribble down the flank instead of playing the simplest pass to Thuram for a lay-off shots on target)

We may get away with easier teams but not capitalizing on this flank will cost us on bigger matches where chances come limited. When Pavard gets integrated into the RCB position, I’d seriously like to see Inzaghi testing Darmian in the RWB. I think Darmian is a much more suitable partner for Pavard in this flank.

and its not like we need to 'play it safe' at 3-0, its good for the guy to show what an attacking difference he can make to the team. he came into possession quite a lot and made some good runs/threats.

He made to many mistakes, lost the ball in very unfortunate places, made rashed passes and warmed the ball to long that led to him loosing it. This should not happen with a player with his experience. You kinda live with when Augusto dos it, because he has the age to improve on it, but we got Cuadrado because he should not make such mistakes.

The way he played so far I don’t really see him take the place from Dumfries, Dumfries was mm from scoring let’s not forget that.

There not really many on the bench I see being a threat to current 11. Pavard is probably the only one who realistically got a shot. I don’t see Acerbi taking over De Vrij the way he has regained his form, because let’s be honest De Vrij is the better player when he plays up to potential.

Darmian is not good enough offensively for Inzaghi style of play, his main strength is defensively as he show game after game, it just doesn’t make sense to use him on high stamina, physical challenging spot where you are a key for the offence to work. Dumfries made more Assists in his Inter carrier then Darmien made his entire carrier.

I do like Darmian and his work ethic and no bs attitude but he ain’t no offensive wing back. He is a RB and CB mainly that can play the entire back and defensive midfielder or other defensive positions because of his versatility, but he ain’t enough of an offensive player to play what is required of our wingbacks.

Darmian SDV players most of us wouldn't have minded leaving for others and they've been so good for us.
Seasons of Toro isn't good enough, mixed emotions on player.

They're absolutely balling this season, what a team we have even if we feel the quality isn't up there, the squad as a whole is a team.

Absolutely loving this season, put the excitement back into football for me, I was close to giving up football after ucl (and Coventry champ final) really low point for me.
