Surprised noone created this thread yet. The first ever match thread I created. :boogy:

Anyways, I want three points from this match, no less. We dropped two points against Udinese, and cut our lead to five points. Roma also has a relatively easy game this week against Siena, so we'll need to win this to maintain our lead.

We are still in the hangover period from last nite.:D

I think the win will make the guys calmer and that will be a big help against Empoli. Mancio rested his big players against Jube, so lets hope our top team comes out. We might even see Figo on the list.

Hope Siena play against Roma the way they did to us 3 weeks ago.

Hope Totti is also gonna be out w/ flu bug :D

Guys, what do u think if the boys aren't playin' too well again, & Cruz miss a few sitters again, do u think we should try SuperMario for a bit alongside Ibra in senior league?

Not yet.
Suazo is back, Crespo is there, and Cruz is playing well so no need for that. just play him, he will score again.

I dont agree, that Roma has an easy match. Siena played relatively well the last games, as I remeber. But in fact, we have to concentrate on our performance. I wouldnt mind to see Balotelli again in the starting 11. But Cro is right. Balotelli needs some peace ^^. Lets wait a bit and let him grow in peace. We also have to look after our equilibrium in the squad....

Yeah well, maybe it's time for Cruz to rest a bit too, if I'm not mistaken he has been playing a lot of games lately...

I'd go for Ibra-Crespo (give him his chance) upfront

Crespo should be fourth choice at the moment, or even fifth behind Balotelli perhaps. Suazo did pretty dam great before he was injured so he should be ahead of Crespo in the pecking order.

I can't wait to see him back in action!

I'm expecting Ibra-Crespo with Suazo coming on for half an hour. Cruz has been playing a lot, Mario said yesterday he was very tired.

Freccia is Suazo, yes? I thought it was Pantera nera?

Anyways, he's definitly not a failure. He had a slow start but he was playing great before he got injured. We got a class player here. If you can't recognize Suazo's talent then you don't know what is simple and common in football and what is difficult and rare. Suazo's a gem.

Yes, i heard both names. Scarpini on inter.live uses the term freccia nera, meaning black arrow, which i like a lot. What about crespo-Suazo
Would be a nice couple, too, in my opinion...

I will be stubborn, like I was when everybody was saying how we are doing great with 4-4-2 and we should stick with it, while I was crying for 4-3-1-2.

As to this stubborn part... I expect domination, and I will wait for it untill it comes. I want to see us humiliate opposition midfield as we did in the first part of the season, where we put pressure on them, and where you could see they feel respect to us, thus playing lot of direct and long ball. I want to see it again, and I hope it will come with (almost)all injured players coming back.

I expect us to start with Crespo - Ibra, as many predict. Suazo is just after injury, and knowing Mancini he won't start him, but I expect him to play some part.

The worst thing is to predict the midfield and the defense, as Figo should be on the bench for the first time, and with Maicon having this small knock.

I hope Vieira will start for the first time, as I think this passing period of his should be over. Cambiasso will play for sure, and if Maicon too, than we have a midfield completed. But... maybe Capitano will play on the right of the defense.

Like I said many options. Matrix - Ivan also look pretty obvious.

I think these guys we will see for sure.

Julio - xx1, Ivan, Matrix, xx2 - Vieira, Cuchu, Javier - xx3 - Ibra Crespo

xx3 Jimegol/Stan
xx2 Maicon/Javier
xx1 Maxwell/Cristian

I want to se Crespo from beginning. HE MUST GET HIS SHAPE BACK AGAIN!
He is priceless when hes in top shape. Just think about the last matches of last season, the 2nd match of final coppa di Italia, he was brilliant. Mancini should concentrate on him helping him to get his shape back again.

Hope to see Chivu and Suazo in action, they both need some mins after the injury. If Maicon is fit, he shall be used to but def. not risk him.

Since they fired their manager Luigi Cagni, Empoli aren't the same. They were a much stronger last season, specializing in the 1-0 and 0-0 games.

There are few players who can score anytime against any team: Luca Saudatti and Vannucchi.

I expect nothing less than a 3-0 victory.

He have to watch out for Giovinco. Very skilled young player who has impressed this season. Also he's a juventino so he will surely be fired up.

Ivan trained separately today, and that means, that he could not start against Empoli.
