This game's outcome completely depends on Spallo's tactical choices. Perisic or Candreva simply need to be benched for at least one game. Karamoh remains criminally underutilized. I personally don't mind Valero, his attributes outreach his personal drawbacks but Gagliardini has been plain and simply horrible the past few games. I am also very skeptical about Dambro on the LB spot, he was below mediocre in that match a few games ago when he also started there.

He said Rafinha definitely will play. So maybe he is trying to give him time to settle and doesn't want to put pressure on him and start him. So most probably he is coming on as a sub.

I hope they will prove me wrong, but with that lineup I can already picture us camping in their half only to struggle creating any decent chance. Endless crosses sent to the box that reach no one. Occasional penetration and positivity will be provided by Cancelo and Skriniar (yes, our defenders) which is not enough. Rafinha to come in around 70 min bringing some much needed spark only to find his teammates not quite in the same page, frustrated and dejected.
