I can't even be happy anymore.I want to eat shit.Managers have taken life out of me...I don't even care if we win cause I can't look past the tactical fallacies.

So we have 3 midfielders.Left footed DM who is most adept at defensive duties,bulldog DM/CM who is best at running at opposition and winning ball back,and a passing CM who is best at distribution and weak in defensive duties.

What to do?Strama: Cut of passing CM from the game and place him in front of defense where he can show of his defensive liability while trying to make him a Pirlo,play the defensive left footed player on the opposite foot ( ) as a forward going CM (the slowest player in our team) and play the other defensive minded CM on his opposite foot as well.

Now some basis: You always choose to play a forward going type player or a playmaker on the opposite foot cause they are generally better with their weaker foot and can exploit cutting inside.On the other hand,defensive type midfielders are generally uncomfortable on the opposite foot.

So you play logically:

Gargano - Cambiasso - Zdravko

Or even(I hate this too,but it's acceptable) :

Zdravko - Gargano - Cambiasso
​

What you also shouldn't do(still better than Strama's idea)

Gargano - Zdravko - Cambiasso​

And what you absolutely never ever do:

Cambiasso - Zdravko - Gargano​

And Strama does just that...It physically hurts me.

Actually, you both are right.

Gargano made the first mistake not to cover the run - that was is responsibility. But then Juan saw Rigoni unmarked, and should have covered him - that was his responsibility.

Or perhaps you both are wrong
