LOL, so our kids got mauled. So what? The scoreline could have been more respectable, but let's not detract from the main point - it was simply an exercise in fitness conditioning for many of our players.

It's not the end of the world, really. Hey, at the least, the game reinforces the point that selling Adriano isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Kids? Where were all the kids on the pitch? There were Pele from Inter and Dos Santos from Barcelona. Okay, purpose was to get match fitness, but why those Chivu, Cambiasso, Jimenez & co doesn't even try to win the match when they are playing in it?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Rivas can play better than Cordoba. With more time I think he can be a very good player for this club.

Balotelli is going to be our Messi. I won't be surprised if Mancini decides to sell Recoba and Adriano just to give this kid a chance. He has everything to be a Serie A star in the future. He reminds me of Adriano himself, but I still haven't seen his headers yet.

Chivu was awful, just awful.

Burdisso, despite playing like crap most of the game, he's a true leader and a team player just like Stankovic and Materazzi. I hope only match fitness affected his performance, because he was a class defender last season and I hope he gets his form soon before Cordoba plays more games.

I guess you guys would know what that feels like ...being the experts on it and all *cough*cough*6-0*cough :dielaugh: So I'll trust you on it.....but keep in mind that you weren't obligated as Barca to win this...you didn't have many of your first team attackers and Barca's fantastic four is now their fantastic 3 with Eto'o on the treatment table for two months all in all it isn't the end of the world.....that would be at the Milan derby :hush:

Please check the line up first and then insult mancini. If mancini put top team here, than we would lose next serie a game and most of the people would sack mancini. Just a friendly right? What a ridiculous statement. Why would we lose next serie a game if we fielded most of the first team? We normaly play mid week in serie a also, so not its any different. Besides that its a friendly game, the risk of injuries are very low.

If anyone needed this game to gain matchfitness it was surely our starters, we all saw how much everyone sucked vs udine because they hardly played together in preseason.

Mancini is apparently counting on his coaching to be enough for players to gain matchfitness, and that i can only laugh at.

I am really upset bout a 5-0 defeat ... its nt a true reflection of our abilities, but what signal does it send to Europe when u treat the match as a joke when u hv put on the Inter shirt.
