Ummm I dunno! Perhaps the Midfield of Barca had difused our midields so the couldn't creat opportunities for the Strikers!

But instead I think TOLDO was the best player it's true while he was in the pitch Inter got 4 goals but he also saved at least for goals either!

Recoba and Balotelli did decent when they came on. Mostly because we played a better second half. Barca simply wasn't putting as much pressure on us and allowed our midfielders into the game. They still dominated completely though.

Shit match and shit result. But what else could you expect with unfit south Americans, primavera players and new purchases. I saw this coming but I was hoping for a respectable 3-1 loss.

Now on the performance of our South Americans.

Cambiasso was very poor. I don't think I have ever seen him play that many bad passes in one match. Obviously not fit to play against Empoli.

Crespo, I have no idea which shape he is in.. He ran pretty decent but he never got the ball. Besides he's hard to rate because he's always invisible untill he scores.

Burdisso, didn't look fit either. Looked unsure on the ball and did some bad marking mistakes in defence.

Adriano. About the same as preseason. Showed some nice ambitions but nothing ever came from it. Looks fit enough to get some minutes against Empoli.

Recoba. Looked good, but he always does untill he gets injured.

I'm just gonna try to forget this match. But I do wonder where our best squad in the World is. How is it possible to have the best squad in the World and not be able to play some decent football, even if it is against a team like Barcelona? I bet if Chelsea played their second team they would'nt lose with five goals to nill.

Well it was clear that this team wasnt working at all, as far as you could call this a team since it never played together like this......
You cant just blame 1 person of this bad preformance....when a team isnt going well players like Chivu can also make mistakes, it just happend.
You could clearly see we missed leaders like Zanetti or Vieira, so i cant wait to see us playing again next saterday when we must beat Empoli, there we will see a totally different Inter and also a different Chivu.

Maybe this lose is good for the team and players, they now know they are still far from the top and they must work really hard if they want to win at least the scudetto, if we would have won 5-0 today we could think we beat teams like Empoli very easy.

Ofcourse the result looks terrible, but there is also a "bit" positive fact about it. Lets hope im right to say this and we will see a strong Inter that want to give everything to win next saterday, because this will be needed.

Indeed, and i must say Solari also wasnt bad. I also hope we have a good keeper with Alfonso for the future, he didnt look good at some points, but we cant blame him ofcourse.

Well i can t say i m impressed by solari quite the opposite. I mean yeah he was ou re most active and he has nice bal control and dribbling but whenever he made a nice run he missed the right time to pass the ball on ore it took him way to loong to finally pass the ball. Thats why i think we should not use him in big games coz all hes work and effort is worth shit if he doesent give the right passes.

Oh and by the way stop calling it ou re b team this was not even oure b team. i mean Cesar is not in ouer b team neither is rivas ore solari all of them are basicly 3rd choice and the one s who were first choice and played either played out of position(chivu ) ore are in a terrible form( cambi/adri)

I have no idea. But they've only been in training for two-three weeks no? And yes it is ridicoulus. They should be fit to play when the season starts. Obviously not at top level but fit nonetheless.

I can understand what you mean, but this is also the guilty of the others....if other people make space for Solari or walk in a free area so Solari could pass easy he would have looked much better tonight. He has done well for what he could do, but it was clear this team has never played like this together, nobody worked and nobody understood eachother.

they just came back from Coppa America , Cambiasso and JZ probly got the most playing time, 2 or 3 weeks rest was it? the so called diet these profesionals do they shouldnt be unfit for 3 weeks. like i really dont think cuhu should of missed the game agaisnt udinese he played pre season games . maybe the players are burning out

game was irrelevant...just good to see that some of my players(not all, certainly not the facker who was captain in first half) came back to old virtues..

but really..I liked Rivas..if you meet Madrid in Champions League, make sure he marks Van Nistelrooy. Brother got balls...he doesn't have much skills, but surely, he got balls. He just needs to control them better.
Really liked his attitude, specially as no one got injured.

There is absolutely no point in playing them like this, apart from getting laughed at but the first team does that well enough on their own. We gain nothing at all, no fitness, no tactical buildup for the season no nothing.

This perfectly sums up a completely wasted preseason.
