We gain nothing at all, no fitness, no tactical buildup for the season no nothing.

I think we got something instead: either money or a game on Giuseppe Meazza for our centenary as Bayern Munchen played last year at Barca's stadium an this summer they played a friendly on Allianz Arena.

But its so easy to say this afterwards. Mancini is a good coach, only he isnt the most strong coach in tactical disicions. I also thought for a while he could beter leave.....but is there a garantee that another coach will do it better?
Mancini knows his players and they know him, you cant win every year the highest. The expectings from Inter this year are really high because we had a great year in 2006.
Its really not only the trainer who can do things wrong, we will not get 20 points behind Milan......there is just 1 match played and the result was a bit more bad then we hoped, but does this mean the season is lost already?
Last year it was also Udinese......the team that we couldnt beat, its no shame, everything can still happend!!

The thing that i dont like is that when everything goes well with Inter, the fans all thank the players and mostly forget the trainer, but when things go bad they dont blame the players the most, but then its always the guilty of the trainer!! Its so easy to fire him, but it doesnt solve anything.......lets wait for some more matches untill we can judge Mancini, i think he can still make a good year with this Inter, if he doesnt.....yes then the chemic is worked out and we should look for another trainer, but not now already......

Like I said before the game, this match was all about making our non-fit players receive some match-fitness. I watched the first half and then stopped watching, but it's beside the point.

My suggestion is to play Jimenez against Empoli. I really think he has the exact qualities that can win us matches. He may not have been impressive overall, but check out some of his passes etc. and combine them with some decent players, not shit like Adriano, and we may have ourselves a gem.

Of course, I could and probably am wrong.

Yeah, Jimenez isn't bad at all. He impresses me with his ball control and vision, and he has a decent dribble. Kind of reminds me of Deco only not as good.

But IMO Stankovic, Figo and Ibra all combined well against Udinese, as long as we were playing 11 vs 11. I would start them but put Suazo or Crespo instead of Cruz. Jimenez could come on in the sixtieth minute for Figo.

LOL, so our kids got mauled. So what? The scoreline could have been more respectable, but let's not detract from the main point - it was simply an exercise in fitness conditioning for many of our players.

It's not the end of the world, really. Hey, at the least, the game reinforces the point that selling Adriano isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Honestly everyon keeps pushing for this centenary present, and we're about 7 months from the actual birthday. I don't know if you remember that we have another transfer window. Even if we don't get this player as a present. The biggest present I can get from Inter is seeing them get their shit together do great and win. Looking at our squad, we have some really great players, we just need to get into the rhythm.

This game we lost, wasn't great. But we had our second squad for the most part of which one of them was a player we just bought only yesterday?

Now let's leave this game in the ashes and kick some Empoli ass.

Quaresma and Nasri would be nice additions, but that happening now, would be tough.

game was irrelevant...just good to see that some of my players(not all, certainly not the facker who was captain in first half) came back to old virtues..

but really..I liked Rivas..if you meet Madrid in Champions League, make sure he marks Van Nistelrooy. Brother got balls...he doesn't have much skills, but surely, he got balls. He just needs to control them better.
Really liked his attitude, specially as no one got injured.

I didnt see much of the comments so please excuse me if some of what i say has been said or refuted..

First of ,all this year friendlies -besides maybe one -have been terrible. Not because we lost but because we didnt even try to seriously experiment. Ofcourse we used different lineups but those lineups chances of actually playing together is one in a million.

Game plan wise it seems we were just playing a neighborhood game.No attempt what so ever of something fluid happening. Just simple passes which most end up to the other team.

Now to the physical fitness because some might argue that was the main reason for this excersize. As Mancio and everyone else can see we gained non of that as we still suffered against Udinese in that regard. Mancio himself made that stupid vague comment about our physical players needing more time than other teams or whatever it was..

I am not saying the players suck or Mancini should be sacked..I just dont know what the aim of all these was if we started slower than usual. I can only hope its Mancini's way of making us look bad so that the real team comes out strongly in the real games..

Now lets thrash Empoli and make it an easy win..

Ohh as for the game Geovanni rocked and so did Toure..From our side only Toldo looked good.

the result doesnt affect our season BUT it damages the players, it mentally affects the players and that has been one of our liabilities in the last 20 years....this really hurts especially after a draw at home to begin the season...it will play on the minds of the players and the media will magnify so much that it will be impossible for the players not to hear what's been said.
