Its not over yet. I have seen too many return legs end up in shit.

As long as we do the business in Madrid, im happy.

At the end of the day, Atletico will need to come to play and that can only mean good things if we can take our chances in Madrid. Hopefully Hakan, Dimarco get some form, and Thuram is back from injury.

Thuram looked like a groin injury, how long do those usually take?

Nice win, played great but a shame we didn't score at least a 2nd.

Its usually a month, due the area...but it really depends how bad he strained it and the recovery in the first 24 hours icing it .etc

The first thing comes to mind is how on earth both team played with the blue shade jerseys? It is appaling that both teams have a contrasting primary home jerseys yet Atleti played with blue as well:palm:

We established our dominance here. Not just a sterile possession dominance but we created a lot of dangerous chances. It was remarkable for Atleti and Simeone were known for their defensive solidity. It was a shame that we were back to last season where our players forgot to wear their shooting boots.

I am slightly optimistic for the second leg. Atleti are not that good at breaking down opposition and we are good at counter attack now. Our chance will be greater if Thuram is available because he is the fastest player we have now.

Wish we scored another because Atléti are a different animal in Madrid. We were the better side for sure but didn’t put our chances away like we should’ve. Should’ve been 2 or more from us. Simeone will happily take a 1 goal deficit to Madrid. Going to be a stellar finale in a few weeks

UEFA removes the away goal rule, doesn't they? If that is the case then we have just-enough result, may be 0.5 goal advantage max I would say. Home advantage weights a ton in CL...I have seen teams reverse a 4-goal lead at home.

2-0 would be another story. Arnau bottling easy chances might cost us tens of millions.

You absolutely right, but even it's very minimal lead, I trust inzaghi and the team that we do the job done, we great this season, I don't think there is any team in the world that better than us in our correct form, let's hope this will lasts as many time..

Absolute deserved victory and the only problem is that it was just a 1-0. Yesterday Atletico was very weak and we were superior in every part of the game. Sadly thinks can drasticially change in the return lag, when we play in front of 70k Madrid fans. I hope that we don't concede early so Atletico has to open up and give us some space for counter attacks.

Right now the most important thing is that Thuram's injury is not too serious and that he will be back asap.

BTW: SDV had a monster game yesterday, he made us forget about the absence of Acerbi. Would be awesome if his pass during the first half to Thuram(?) would have gone through.

Great game overall.

We won the game but we lost Thuram. With Assman upfront we gonna lose easy those 10+ pts advantage in scudetto race.

Maybe we didn't lose him. We'll see soon

Our lead is only 1-0 heading into the away game, but it is a great result to have as the game has to be a different one. Atlético was happy to let us play yesterday. This will change, as they have to open up more at home chasing a result.

Usually these are games we thrive in, as we can suffocate very well.

They will try to injure Barella and then score two in the second half.

1-0, a real win.
Scored one, conceded none. If the win was bigger, they could go into reverse match too relaxed and it could get complicated. Inter is a machine that must be in high gear all the time.
We are just waiting for the news that there is nothing serious with Thuram and the evening is done as it should be.

Anyway, we have to rotate at some point. Against Lecce, it's ok to start Arna, and maybe not so much vs Atalanta, but we need a draw there.
For me is important Thuram to be available for the return leg at Madrid.

The odd exception through history...
