Atleti will be tough no matter who they field. They play with the same fire as their coach.

I think securing the midfield will be key. Koke and Saúl are underrated players in my opinion and will give battle. Morata being out is a big plus for us. Griezmann and Depay can do some damage, but if we stay alert in defense I think we can manage them.

We need to take a lead to the Wanda Nara Metropolitano here. Who knows what each side will look like in a month. We’re clearly in better form right now.

We are still missing a big scalp in CL. I think we need to get that monkey off our back and this is a great opportunity to do it.

Beating Milan, Porto, and Benfica just doesn’t have the prestige. We haven’t beaten a real European elite team in a 2 leg tie since 2011. You could argue Atletico aren’t quite that at the moment either but they’re the closest thing to it since our tie with Liverpool.

If we want to be respected by casuals we need to start winning these match ups.
