I think red was the right call. They did change the rule about double punishment in case a player is trYing to get the ball legally, such as the Australian player who actually touches the ball before fouling Griezmann.

C. Sanchez definitely extended his arm in an unnatural position and blocked a clear goal.

Was about to say Nagatomo is having a good game against Cuadrado, then, under no pressure, he makes some fucking spastic attempt at a clearance which results in the free kick equaliser. (I remember us being linked to Quintero when he was Pescara ) Even though the foul definitely should've been given against Colombia with Falcao backing into the Japanese defender, it was still a signature retard move from Nagatomo.

From a neutral perspective I guess it's a good thing Colombia equalised. Maybe it'll make Japan actually play some football.
