Germany will look to improve on their WC2006 showing, but will find opposition in the form of Croatia, Austria and Poland, who will make the task a formidable one.

I hope Poland go thru'. Although Germany and Croatia are really good.

Being slightly biased I'd say:

Poland and Germany

Wow ;)

Anyways expect me a lot in this thread in coming days/week(s).

This is a group of the most derbies of all. Germany/Poland/Austria.

If you want to pick one game from the group, watch German vs Poland. This is like a national war when it goes to those two.

Expect full stadium of polish and germans, and the 90 minute supporting through singing and al of this.

You fear Germany will go through?? I can bet my left nut, Germany will go through.
Come to think, of it, I can also bet my right nut, that Austria wont go through.

I am also shure that they will go through, but I am from Austria and I am patriotic, so don`t take me too serious when i talk about Austria. But still Austria will be the big positive surprise (hopefully).

Yeah Germany is a pretty safe bet to go through I think for second it will be tight between Poland and Croatia. I think Poland will be wanting to get some pride back after their dysmal world cup.

A pre-match post. Germany is one of favourites to win it. But look like they are being afraid by Polish team, while Polacs are being forced with that.
Germay is too strong with that. If they play with Klose and Gomez, they will win it with no hard work. I think Germany with them good game will win it with a good result. With a great result I mean. Like 3-0. or 4-0. They have a great midflielding with Ballack and Schweinsteiger plus Frings.
Before I believed too much in''Players to watch'' articles, but now not. Allways the 'Players to watch' do bad. Like today in game btw Swiss and Czech there was Degen who was not even used to play. lol
Germany will have a good defence too. With Ms. Mertessaker and Metzelder. Who for me are World Class, and especially the second I wrote.
Jansen? Look like he will play as a LB? Could one of you just remember this player?
Lahm. I hope he will do great as allways. And don't forget. Do you think Lehman will play? Well I don't think so. Rensing maybe.

And about Polish team. Fucka. I thought they have bad players, but not. They are strong. And especially Boruc. Who is one of the bests Gks in the world. And he can prove himself today just like Cech did yesterday.

Go Germany. Even I'm not fan of you I want Klose and Ballack win. 2-0 Germany.
