Ahhh, i just wanted to continiue the Hitler's talking... :D
Just kidding...

I didn't want the Germans to win, but hell, thery were too good... Physically the best team in Euro, they are like machines...

Poland - Croatia will be the best game in this group...

If Hitler was to rise to power these days, football would be banished, all round objects destroyed and stadiums raized to the ground.

Almost no pure German in the team, and no pure German striker minus Neuville

Klose and Podolski who were part of the goal are Poles and apparently they scored own goals :D
They have Castro, Gomez who's Brazilian and Kuranyi who's from everywhere. Hitler would slay them and try to stop football from being played :p

Gomez is part-Spanish, part German according to his wikipedia page. Anyway, Germany is no worse than any other nation when it comes to poaching foreign players. Croatia has Eduardo who is Brazilian to a tee. Italy has Camoranesi who is like 4th generation Argentine-Italian. And France has more African players you can shake a stick at. International football is becoming more diluted than ever. It's pretty sad.

By far...

Definetly, a good game, possibly for the second place in a group. But it's still long way for Poland at this point. We have Austria first.

Watch out for Croatia-Germany. I will place a bet on Croatia to win it, and so far I have made a bet for 3 or more goals to be scored in that game. I predict it will be a really open game. If Croatia fails to get something out of it, then Poland-Croatia will be the most crucial of course, and probably the best. But I see Croatia pulling a wonder here, despite not playing well yesterday

I noticed that almost every big team was conservative in the first game.Just wanting to do enough to get the 3 points and no more, leaving their cards close to their chest for later..

You can't say its sad. Its bound to happen with the globalization. Just that it should happen like in case of Balotelli playing for Italy, since he has been there since birth. This poaching isn't the best.

Gomez is half Spanish like BRad said and I think he was born in Germany. I don't know what Yuko is saying, true Kuranyi is panaman-hungarian-brazilian that is somehow playing for Germany, but as far as I can tell apart from Gomez/Kuranyi the rest are 'Germans.'

I still believe in Gomez and I think Podalski should continue to play on the wings with Klose-Gomez up-front.

Klose and Podolski were born in Poland and have Polish parents as far as I know.

There's also Castro.
There's also Odonkor

At no way Germany is similar to France with 15 players from Africa, 2 from the Carribean etc... But still, Germany is probably second, and then we have the Dutch :p

French African players were born in France, so they doesn't really count as Africans. Your home country is a place where you were born and raised.

15:7 for France:)

7 of those are not born in France but I think all of them came to france at young young age, and for me they are French.
I dont liek when players come to league and after 2,3 seasons they get passport and can play for new nation, like that Poland Brazilian, but if player is in that Country for so many years, then its ok.

Of course. Players should be able to choose their national team.

Exactly. Because France made them who they are not the countries their parents were born in. If they were born in their native countries they woyld never become who they are.

We have a saying in Poland:

1st game is a opening game.
2nd is a game for life.
3rd is a game for honor.

:p

You will win against Austria and Germany wil win against Croatia. So the final game Poland - Croatia should be amazing ;)

Poland was just too good against Germany, and would suprise me if they dont win against Austria.

But, Swiss are already out, so Austria will be fired up badly not to loose this game, and if Poland dont go 100% into this game I can see Austria get point or even 3.

I am sure Beenhakker will make sure Poland is fired up, but u never know...
If Croatia looses, Poland wont win, If Croatia doesnt loose, Poland will win:)

Mind games....lets wait and see.
I am just sure craotai will sooner win against Germany then Poland
