I would have liked Scamacca for a certain price. I really do think he would do really well here. With the squad we have now. But a fixed fee of 30 mln, ex bonuses is really to much.

I'm not sure how I feel about this overall. I didn't want Scamacca as the 3rd striker, but rather a replacement for Correa. His price is way too high for that though. I warmed up to the idea of having him but I can understand not wanting to go beyond 25M base fee or so. He did just have a bad season and 6 months worth of injury.

I'm more worried about the potential of bringing Beto here than I am disappointed in not getting Scamacca.
