Balotelli? He was shipped out - rightly - for non-footballing reasons. No complaints there.
Santon? There's a reason we swapped Santon for Nagatomo. If you think he could be captain, that's hugely . He wouldnt even be playing for us - he's a bigger defensive liability than Jonathan, and that's saying something.
Destro? Yes, good player, we could have kept him, but we have Icardi and it's not the end of the world.
Caldirola? Better than Ranocchia I disagree. Defensively solid but unspectacular, sure. Wouldn't be first choice at Inter, though, definitely not.
Donati? I think this is more of a comment about Jonathan than it is Donati. He's not bad, but he's hardly a great quality we missed out on.

and if we'd done that, caldirola would never have developed as he has done recently. Destro might well have, its harder to say. Not even talking about Inter's lack of playing younger players, but rather, they've ALL Developed.

Destro developed elsewhere before moving to Genoa. Caldirola and Donati have come along a long way in the last year. We aren't exactly talking about people who have walked straight into the Italy line up.

And, to be fair, we've also completely changed our attitude to youth players as you can see in my recent articles.

You wont see the immediate impact of this, but over the course of 2-3 years, the loan-to-buy-countercluase will be felt, the effects of prato will be there on 3-5, and the effect of our youth stuff in 4-7 imho.

with strama we did 9th position, with mazzarri 5th position without cassano and milito....find the difference...
