maybe they could play some minutes with the first team this year. Thohir would be happy for this.

That's the thing. Wasting top talent like Delgado or ventre on the bench for a year would be fucking retarded...

Definitely. They used to have the Beretti for that but they scraped it. Would be good to have that now so these guys could be playing regularly.

Berretti is back this year. De la fuente scored the winner today vs Real Vicenza. Also Samaden confirmed it a couple a weeks ago.

I dont think either of puscas, bonazzoli, or camara will be inter-material in the future.

puscas is too much of a poacher in the primavera - his technique is not good enough. icardi is quite one dimensional, and yet he looked like lionel messi in spain's youth teams. with tighter marking and better defenders, plus the responsibility of build up play/creativity etc, he will not succeed, even with his great off the ball movement - that alone won't be enough. Eg. Palacio is a player that is extremely dependent on his off the ball movement, but he's also very well rounded on the ball as well.

camara's game is dependent on speed and physicality. he can only succeed at the primavera level with his pacy runs.

and lastly, bonazzoli's decision making is poor, and his technique doesnt compensate for those shortcomings. for example, taufer is (at least in my opinion) close to the level of mastour despite not measuring up in terms of technique - not the case with federico. he will be another pazzini.

while his stats say a different story and are used to justify his hype, i havent seen anything special from him (or puscas for that matter) aside from goals. i feel our youth system has wrongly placed emphasis on what you do vs how you do it. for example, despite bojan's legendary goalscoring exploits in la masia, he isnt good enough.

i hope im dead wrong of course - and with young players, anything can happen. give them faith, let them play, and lets see what happens (i'd loan out camara and puscas in jan to push them harder).

good, he also knows how to score from the penalty spot. To me, that is just as important as scoring otherwise.

But that's the point of training them up. Your complaints about Puscas or Bonazzoli could have been applied to Destro, Dell'Agnello, Longo, or a range of other Inter primavera strikers over the years. Whether they make it or not is not decided at 18, its about how they tackle the next 3 years.

I've also expressed concerns about Camara's attribute scope, but at the same time, it will inherently come down to how he develops from here.

I've always used as a rule of thumb that the most impressive primavera players will make it, and this year it is definitely those 3. Martins is a extremely limited player in the similar way to Camara, and he's done reasonably for himself. I suspect Camara has a lot more technique than we see, too, he simply doesn't NEED to use it.

You don't beat the fullback/centre-back as often as he does without having some genuine talent in your body, too..

Do it once or twice from pace is one thing, to do it 10-15 times a match? He's not playing against some AI that cant learn

IMHO the thing that people should look at most is football pundits in italy are now crazy about these 3 kids

It should also be noted that even if Camara relies on his pace, it doesn't mean he's going to be nullified all of a sudden when he gets to the senior levels. He will still have pace! Whether or not he has the ability to use it to devastating effect is the question. People act like he should purposely play slower than he is in order to elegantly dribble the player, but thats not his game. Its not his game at primavera level and it probably won't be his game at senior level.
