Wow, great rankings
Not a good game by Pandev, but Muntari was worse. The Pandev situation is very obvious, he is not good at the wing, he is much more dangerous in the middle. Imo Stankovich was MoM.

milito should be the 2nd worst player, after muntari
the amount of miscommunications and lost balls milito had were ridiculous...

and how can mariga only get a 5?
he was pretty good yesterday....doing very well defensively and very well offensively...good combinations e.t.c.

and muntari should get a ZERO....
i know they don't use it at all, but this is a text book case...
he contributed absolutely nothing and is the ONLY reason we lost the game...

mariga was definetley the best player in the 1st half. Milito didn't do anything special. He looked off the pace to me last night and never really looked dangerous. Did what he does best though and thats score.

honestly the only way gazetta will give lower then a 4 is if a player purposely kicks a ball in their own goal. But that could only get you a 3. To get a 2 or lower you have to shoot someone on the pitch.

uhhh, how was Cambiasso our best player in this game? He was great, amazing. But Sneijder was legendary, he is the MOM by far.

Agree with most of the ratings, except I would give Sneijder an 8.5, and Cambiasso a 7.5. Maybe an 8 to Maicon.

Agreed, Sneijder should have been man of the match.. Cambi is just a little bit overrated, i would give him 7.5... And i would give Pandev more, 6.5 for sure, maybe even 7.. I believe that the missed chance downed his rating at least by 1...

I don't agree with any of you. Gazetta doesn't watch a match generally(from what i have read), it's more or less like Castrol rankings. Sneijder was VERY EFFECTIVE with his few through passes, he was a GENIUS, but that was it, he sent 4-5 great assists and held the ball up a little bit, but not much throughout the 90, while Cambiasso had Lampard and Ballack in his pocket the whole match, Cambi had 90 minutes of greatness and hard work. They both got 8s, which is what they both deserve, or maybe both having 8.5s.
By the way, the way Castrol rankings work is by calculating a player's moves, passes, tackles and EVERYTHING there is in football, and how accurate/effective they were as well as on how important parts of the pitch. So small unnoticed things mean a lot there.


All in all, i agree completely with the ratings.
