Our two losses to juve last season left me incredibly annoyed and disappointed due to the manner of the results. We were thoroughly outplayed across 180 minutes and we deserved absolutely nothing from both pathetic games. What an interesting turnaround the last 2 weeks have been.

In our past two meetings they've created a shockingly low amount of clear-cut chances from open play. On the other hand, we've done extremely well to create a high volume of high-percentage chances, but we've let ourselves down with a dismal conversion rate.

We've been indisputably better than them, and I don't think even juve fans would deny that fact. Ironically, this encouraging performance also adds to the bitterness because we threw it all away ourselves, unforced and unprovoked. It's as if we sat an exam and got every single question right - but failed because we didn't write our name on the fucking exam paper. Incredulous.

Anyway, the nature of the last defeat (unlike those of last season) gives me absolute confidence that we can convincingly win at Turin (for the first time in years). Therefore, I'm of the opinion that we rotate for this match. Give Eriksen another start and play Gagliardini for all I give a shit. Rest one of our back 3 too and go all out against juve next week.

Agree with everything else, except for that last bit. I wouldn't rest anymore tomorrow. Fiorentina game is in Serie A and in my view trumps any coppa game in importance. We need these 3 points to keep the pressure, and must play our best XI. If a fresher Eriksen can help us more than a tired Brozo, then lets play him. Not coz we want to rest Brozo, but coz we must put our best XI for tomorrow.

I would like some changes against Fiore. We still can beat them, we don't have that bad bench players. I agree we shouldn't disregard the coppa game. If we managed to qualify after a 2-1 home loss, it would be a huge confidence boost for our players, it would deepen Juventus crisis and it would also be a statement for the league. On the other hand, i disagree with your last sentence. After Fiorentina, our next two games are against Lazio and Milan, two games where there's a high risk of losing points. We can't afford dropping any points in Florence. We have to win tonight.

yeah sure, that's what i hear every year.. of course scudetto is priority. But this is a lame excuse. We are already out of CL, whats the problem to take the game seriously? It's only 2 Coppa games. One now, and the other would be at the end of season i think.
Inter could win Coppa and Scudetto this year...truth is: The first leg showed that we are still weak and could probably end to win nothing this year, simply. We could have a nice Final + more confidence if we beat Juve. Losing could end to destroy confidence. Im expecting a really diffrent game at the return leg with Hakimi and Rom, no fucking excuses this time.

It's anyway not only about Coppa, it's also about wining against this piss club from Torino.

Exactly. There is no reason not to go after both the objectives. We should focus on the game tonight and put out our best XI. We can worry about the Juve game from tomorrow, and pick the best XI for that one too.
