Bottom line, Fiorentina is so shit we should beat them even when when we play 120mins on thursday, a day before.

Nice match thread opening Jnr.

There will certainly be a bit of rotation since we're facing Juve and Lazio next week. I'd go for this:

Handanovic
Skriniar - De Vrij - Bastoni
Hakimi - Barella - Eriksen - Vidal - Darmian/Perisic
Lukaku - Sanchez

Brozovic was pretty bad last night so perhaps it would be a good time to give another start to Eriksen. Vidal and Sanchez aren't available against Juve so they could start this game.

Away at Fiorentina usually is a tough fixture for us but they're poor this season and they're going to miss their best midfielder. No excuses. Must win game.

win win win... Eriksen In.

I hope Eriksen had started yesterday, when he came on he didn't do so well imo. I also believe it depends on his position on the pitch and his role Conte wants him to play.

3 points is all that matters here for me, nothing else, let darmian and young play up front if we get it.

Vidal should channel all his anger on Fiorentina. He can't play the return leg against Juve so he's got to play this one. Sanchez has to start but won't mind having Lautaro from the 70th minute onwards if things go south.

Personally won't mind seeing Ranocchia again. De Vrij looked out of place and exhausted yesterday.

Handa
Skriniar - Rano - Kolarov
Hakimi - Sensi - Eriksen - Vidal - Perisic
Lukaku - Lautaro

Lautaro to be replaced by Alexis in the second half, and same goes with Darmian and Hakimi. We will need them vs. JuBe. Lukaku was already rested vs. JuBe and he has the physical attributes to play well two games in a row for 120 mins, let alone 90. Barella, Brozo to be introduced if needed.

They are not only missing their best midfielder but also their best defender in Milenkovic.

New signing Kokorin and good guy Valero are available instead. Certainly no threat for our dynamic midfield. He's too grateful to us and plays like a walking fossil.

In that case... I’m preparing myself for a dour 0-0 draw.

Rest the three B's, play Sensi (at least a half), Sanchez ,Vidal , Young. Then to be really "pazza" Gags and Vecino. Then pray.

Our two losses to juve last season left me incredibly annoyed and disappointed due to the manner of the results. We were thoroughly outplayed across 180 minutes and we deserved absolutely nothing from both pathetic games. What an interesting turnaround the last 2 weeks have been.

In our past two meetings they've created a shockingly low amount of clear-cut chances from open play. On the other hand, we've done extremely well to create a high volume of high-percentage chances, but we've let ourselves down with a dismal conversion rate.

We've been indisputably better than them, and I don't think even juve fans would deny that fact. Ironically, this encouraging performance also adds to the bitterness because we threw it all away ourselves, unforced and unprovoked. It's as if we sat an exam and got every single question right - but failed because we didn't write our name on the fucking exam paper. Incredulous.

Anyway, the nature of the last defeat (unlike those of last season) gives me absolute confidence that we can convincingly win at Turin (for the first time in years). Therefore, I'm of the opinion that we rotate for this match. Give Eriksen another start and play Gagliardini for all I give a shit. Rest one of our back 3 too and go all out against juve next week.

We have such an easy spring in terms of schedule that I would oppose any rotation. But given the situation of big matches coming up, I guess I'd rest few, maybe Brozovic indeed. We need him against Lazio for sure so risking yellow in this match is not necessary. Eriksen should be able to handle Fiorentina. I'd say we need Brozovic more against Lazio than Milan if I had to pick.

Barella definitely cannot take a yellow against Fiorentina or Lazio.

But no resting to our back 3. They can play twice a week and they don't have to do that anymore after next week.

You lot are crazy, I wouldn’t rest for shit. Next week will be hard regardless of which team we field so fuck compromising tmrw’s game. Start with the best team and try and kill them early. If that succeeds take off Barella in the second half

We absolutely have to win this game, just to keep pace. I have no illusions of beating Lazio who are now hitting red hot form and their players are healthy, we are fucked against Lazio, I'm 99.9% sure they will end our scudetto hopes, fitting considering history, but we can at least not embarrass ourselves against Fiorentina.

Eriksen sensi and Vidal is a pretty strong mid.
