Big mental test. Knowing we are probably -5 -4 from Juve when this kicks off, big pressure to reduce that cushion.

edit. Wrong point amount corrected.

Without Barella, I am a bit scared to start Dumfries.

I don't mind starting Sanchez if Frattesi is starting, there can be many plays where Sanchez drops down for play making and Frattesi runs up and attack the space or pin defenders; with this if we start Dumfries the right side is a big hole.

Mihki - Frattesi
Asllani

However, I didn't watch enough Fiorentina to know what is the best way to break them down or how to hit them.

I don't understand guys. Bisseck played couple of games on the right and he did great. He can be on the right. He is technically sound for his height and he is good defensively.

As good a season as Fiorentina has had, they have lost at home to Empoli this season and been fortunate to get a draw against Udinese after trailing twice. And, of course, Juventus have won a game on that ground this season.

We've won at Lazio, Napoli, and Atalanta, and we've drawn at Juventus. Yes, an awful lot is being asked of us in this Scudetto push - far more than we had in the 2020-'21 season. It is what it is. Nico's a fucking spastic idiot getting himself suspended for this game yesterday when we already were without Hakan, but we've got to find a way to get through this game somehow. Figure it out.

The best way is to stay compact and kill them on counter. Fiorentina leave huge space behind.

Seems Bastoni might still be out ffs the lanky goon. Potentially missing 4/11 starters now in Dumfries, Bastoni, Barella and Calhanoglu. Did someone say -4?

X2. Maybe Simone knows better. But I could totally see a future of Pavard/Darmian RCB and Bisseck/Buchanan RWB.

I think he is not happy with the money and he is not focused. I could be wrong, but that is the impression I get.
so dumfries is il nuovo icardi apparently.. hopefully there is not also a wanda 2 here

According to Guarro, who seems to be a good source, Bastoni should be back in training tomorrow and there for Fiorentina. So hopefully some good news.

Lets move Bastoni to midfield. Better than fucking Davy Boy Klaassen.

If we’re -4 going into the derby, I don’t know how we get back into it other than the full 3 points against Juve. Which is never fucking easy. Juve just have too much time to prepare for games and a manager that knows how to win the scudetto regardless of how his teams play.

Our away record has been phenomenal this season so despite the lack of several key players, I think we can pull off 3 points here. We pretty much need to.

We miss Bastoni so much when Acerbi plays LCB, would be a massive loss for such an important game.

I'd like to see De Vrij regardless in this game - with Hakan AND Barella out, and Frattesi/Asllani not as well versed in circulating the ball as our starters are, we need more ball playing ability on the pitch. Pavard, De Vrij, and Dimarco will have to pull a lot of weight.

We could get a draw, maybe. And thats it. I dont trust Asslani and Frattesi combo. Plus fucking Klaassen is a first mid option from bench. Mhiki got no rest so he will be probably dead too. Not good at all.
