No wonder everybody is talking about the game in other threads and not here. There was no thread.

They don't have Biraghi, Kouame, Castrovilli and Dodo, we won't have Calhanoglu, Cuadrado, Barella and possibly Dumfries.

We play to win so we can catch up to Juventus. While Fiorentina will play to win because they know we don't have Calhanoglu and Barella. They need to preserve their spot in the top 4.

It's gonna be difficult but we can do this. Viola is known to be a naive team, especially in recent seasons, but us having a couple of key absences is making us look kind of vulnerable, so my biggest concern is whether our bench players will step up and take responsibility in such a match.

Not getting a win here would complicate our season a lot, so hopefully we get the job done.

Glad we'll have Bastoni back. Midfield is concerning, but personally I wouldn't make risk even higher by playing both Asllani and Frattesi from start.

We did get someone in the transfer window - Buchanan. Also Inzaghi does not see Bisseck as an RWB. So if no Dumfries, it means Darmian every game.

The only solution is to play Miki deep and Frattesi and Sanchez in the middle. But I like to see Asllani to start. We need too start playing our young guys if needed. Fiorentina is not Real Madrid or Bayern. He can handle it.

I think he is not happy with the money and he is not focused. I could be wrong, but that is the impression I get.

He started the Verona match in January, and needed medical attention after 20 minutes (his first start since injury). It seems to me he's still suffering with injury. We even kept playing Skriniar after news came out he would join PSG (Empoli fiasco). He started the very next game in the Milan derby, just lost the captaincy.

We really need Dumfries for rest of the season. Inzaghi is very slow in integrating Buchanan and Darmian already looks burnt out and it's only January.

I just have a feeling that he is not happy with current contract situation. Anyways, I did not say bad anything about him, did I?

Wouldn't mind a draw here, with an obligatory win against juve. That way we still stay in command.

I don't know if we can win it with some of these guys starting from the first minute after many weeks and overall tiredness after playing supercoppa games.

Well, a test for the bench it seems. Frattesi should be ok, will miss the occasional brilliance of Barella's passing but he does offer some speed. Asllani good test for him against a decent opponent. Bastoni back is useful especially on the attack since Inter will probably try to exploit that side most often. Can see an Arnautovic and Thuram to start upfront, since Lautaro played the entire match. Darmian again, since Dumfries is either injured or in some deep funk.
It's away, after a emotional win, while Fiorentina needs a return to some kinda form. Smells like draw, but if you want to be Champions, dig deep and win. Forza Inter.
