If he's kinda talented or really really talented then yeah, would love to have him either be the back up keeper for the next 15 years or challenge for the starting role in the near future.

But if he's just talented then he needs to go on loan for another couple of years for stable playing time then he may be ready when he's around 24 25.

No he is 21 years old, he has a perfectly acceptable hight for a goalie a bit on the shorter side compared to Onana that was 190cm and Handanovic that was 193cm and the 196cm of Toldo. However Inter had another one at similar Size in our glory days in Julio Cesar and Zenga even longer back, I believe Zenga wasn’t much taller either.

F. Stankovic should be 187cm

So he ain’t short, that typically implies 183cm and around that, that is about as short as they come and still is somewhat useful.

But he is short compared to Trubin I believe is 2m

I can guarantee it’s a challenge to be 183cm and be a goalkeeper, I know that’s my hight. It’s not all that common to see Goalkeepers that short at the highest level, and you need to compensate by being good at jumping otherwise it’s going to cost goals. In some leagues the average hight is 188-190cm.

Hight is just important, you don’t need to be a 2m either, but my size are rarely all that successful at it.

I believe the shortest Goalkeeper in EPL and Serie A is currently 183cm. So yeah 183cm is short.

Even if he is ‘short’ there’s exceptions to the norm if this guy has the other attitudes that cancel the disadvantage out. Think we’d all largely go to cordoba as an example of a great defender who wasn’t tall.

Guys he is 187cm. It’s fine.

He is 4cm taller than Sommer who we are trying to get as our no 1. And the same height as our beloved Julione.

Yes everyone wants a 2m super freak athletic keeper, but not every professional goalkeeper is going to be as big as Trubin, Donnarumma, etc. There’s more to it than being tall. You also have to be able to get to ground quickly and be well-coordinated, which a freakishly tall person would likely have more trouble with.

Stankovic’s height will not be the thing that makes or breaks his career.

His distribution was really good. I only recall one time where he hurriedly made a clearance when his teammates wanted the ball.

Also, thought he was capable in terms of passing range and ability to make a long range pass to his teammates. It seems like his father’s ability rubbed off on him in that regard.
