He could use a few more games like today's. I dont know if it is his form coming back or just facing his old team inspired him. He had much more hustle today and was running up and down the wings today, riding challenges and putting really good crosses in.
I dont think he was injured Mancini took him out to go into attack mode. Better to keep it tight at the back with JZ rather than take off one midfielder for another.

10 years of FIFGrosso's agent has come out and said that Grosso is happy at Inter and does not intend to leave. He said he has no problems with Roberto Mancini and after a bad season of slight loss of form and physical problems he desperately wants to stay to prove his worth, and that voices from Roma do not appeal to him.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFGood news.... I guess. I'm not a big fan of Grosso as he was never that great for Palermo and I felt somewhat undeserving of a big team like Inter. Kinda like Mariano.

That's not too bad, actually. Problem is that we will have no natural replacement for Maxwell who can play in the same way as he does.

He is still an inter player but he will be loaned out again. Mancini will never welcome him back.

I thought of Cesar too, and quite honestly, it wouldn't completely suck. A new Wome actually. Can be brilliant in some matches and then totally stink.
At least he's very offensive, a good crosser and remind me a lot of Maxwell. Being a reserve wouldn't be THAT bad.

10 years of FIFI don't know do we need a natural replacement to Maxwell. It also seems if we really get Chivu, he will play as our LB. Player who gets 4,5M€/season salary, can't be considered as a bench player.

10 years of FIFI was about to say the same thing and who knows, if Chivu joins Inter, he might start his Inter career playing in the LB position and later on moving to the CB as season goes by.

Fabio Grosso is a Lyon player. A 4 years contract has been signed, the price for the transfer is 5 millions euro, not 7 as french newspaper Equipe announced.
That's from Calciomercato.com
So Grosso has left after one mediocre season with Inter. Pity that he never impressed.

Inter defender Fabio Grosso is set to arrive in Lyon within the next 24 hours to discuss personal terms with the French champions.
The Roman wing-back joined the Nerazzurri from Palermo in June 2006 for around £3.7m and appeared to be one of the summer’s best bargains after his heroics in the Azzurri’s World Cup triumph.
However, Grosso has failed to settle at the San Siro and had a disappointing campaign despite lifting the Scudetto trophy.
According to L’Equipe, Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that Les Gones are preparing a four-year contract worth nearly £1.4m and will offer Inter just under £5m.
Grosso met with Aulas and other representatives in Monte Carlo yesterday and is set to visit the Stade Gerland this weekend for a medical before he can complete the move.
