Though they don't necessarily have to sell Pogba, I think they probably will, especially if there really is concrete interest from the likes of Real or Barca. £40mil+ will be hard to resist, especially if they want to cover the amount they spent for Dybala & Mandzukic

and I actually always liked Morata, I even wanted him last season before he went to juve.. I didn't think he'd do as well as he did this season though

The revenue they received from the CL alone last season would easily cover the transfer fees for Mandzukic and Dybala, which like our deal for Kondogbia, are amortized over 3-4 years. Plus they have minimal debt, no worries about compliance with FFP, and neither player is on outrageous wages. They also have new, more lucrative sponsorship deals that begin this season.

The different prices being quoted by the Italian media for Pogba have been outrageous: between 80-100m euros (and it's not just Raiola spouting his usual nonsense). That's because they don't need or want to sell. So if they do, it will only before the kind of money that will help them replace and reinforce the midfield several times over.

I rate Pogba's potential, but he is seriously overrated when you actually look at how he's performed consistently on the pitch. It helps that he moved from Manchester United, so the English-speaking media were overrating him from the start. Either way, when they do decide to cash in on him, they will be rolling in cash.

I love how Liverpool doesn't hesitate even for a second to go over 40 million euros for a player they didn't even know until a few months ago, but for Kovacic they haven't gone past 20m even after 2 years of harassing us. Someone should smack some sense into our directors.

Don't forget they have brought in James Milner as well and they will have Origi back from Lille.

Milner will play as CM.

They have made free signings. Milner, Ings, Bogdan.

These rumours about Santon and Shaqiri leaving, made me question why the fuck did we even sign him if we are thinking of selling them after less than 6 months?

Eto'o signs for turkish team antalyaspor... of course for heaps of money. :X At least now he's 34, not like when he sailed for Anzhi to end his career prematurely.

As the cliche goes, in football you never know. Rooney seemed 100% out the door a couple of years back only to turn around and sign a new 5 year contract at United. That being said, I think Sterling is gone, and that Firmino is a direct replacement for him (and not a purchase to play alongside Sterling, which I'm sure most Liverpool fans would like to see). Speaking of Firmino though, holy shit, I didn't even know Liverpool were even interested in him. It's nothing to do with jealousy or anything, but it's with a bewildered, somewhat ignorant belligerence that I view this deal. As Fap said, these fucking fool scousers keep pestering us for Kovacic who will (IMO, in all likelihood) be just as good, if not better than the likes of Sterling and Firmino will ever be. They reportedly keep offering us under €25m for Kovacic while continuing to ask for an extortionate sum for Sterling, and out of fucking nowhere, just blow fucken €40m on Firmino. Fucking twats. It's almost comparable to our somewhat sudden Kondogbia purchase, but we're not arrogantly offering Dortmund an insulting amount like €10m for Marco Reus on the side or some nonsense.

Anyway. I don't think the Firmino deal is good for us tbh. If reports are to be believed :)yao:) Man City will offer over fucken €60m for Sterling (fucking madness). Should Liverpool accept, they'll have an extra €20m. Perhaps they'll actually offer something non-insulting for Kovacic. We should be hoping Sterling stays at Pool and signs a rapish new mega contract.

This sterling fiasco is embarrassing. He should've fired his agent after he started mouthing off to the media and insulting club legends. Part of me still wants him to stay at Liverpool and make something of himself but it's never gonna happen. And I kinda hope he fucking sucks for man city

Apparently, Schneiderlin is close to Arsenal for 24m pounds. Talk about getting deals done early!

They're rumours, it doesn't mean they're real. I doubt we would sell either after just purchasing them. Especially Shaqiri.

Man! Milan are getting screwed royally!!

Two days ago football-italia reported that Witsel had a deal with Milan for about 4-5 millions per season. According to some Milanfans, Witsel even flew to Milan to finalize the deal.

http://www.football-italia.net/68218/report-witsel-has-milan-deal

And now apparently he's turned them down because he prefers EPL or Juve! Not inly that, but Luiz Adriano has turned them down too to join Al-Ahli club in UAE!

Milan fans must be going apeshit..
