Nothing against them, but they didn't deserve to qualify..They were given another chance after Russia lost their match in Israel, played at home against a side which already qualified for Euro and still they couldn't get a draw..

Penalty was a clear one if someone's still wondering..Šimunić pulled Defoe's shirt from behind and linesman saw it..

Italy is not as overhyped as England is. What is overhyped is their defensive approach to the game. I really don't find them half as defensive as the media turns them out to be. Surely they don't play the Arsenal or Roma game but it isn't as bad as the media make them out to be.
And watching players like Matrix is always a joy

Italy won when it mattered and played well when it mattered. England relied on Israel to do them a favor. Failed to beat russia when they were 1-0 up in moscow, couldn't beat macedonia at home and then failed to even get a draw vs croatia.

I cant support those dicks, had it of been like argentina (full of itner players) different story.

The English media over-hyped them to death before the start of the qualifying. And I'm not just talking about the actual English, I mean English-language speaking countries like Canada and the States, where there's millions of ex-pats. I'm sure you heard the same in Australia. You just probably don't remember it cuz you were baked.


But I do somewhat agree with you on the Azzurri. I've supported Italy since the days of Baggio but seeing the likes of Gattuso, Ambrosini (who's utter shite btw... how the fvck does he called up for the NT?) and Camoranesi (who's like a 6th generation Argentine-Italian lol) is honestly repulsing. Maybe if we had some more players on the Azzurri, it wouldn't be so difficult.
