Agreed. Nothing. Alvarez does exactly the same, has a better physique, and better work rate.
What a wrote about him in the forward rumors thread:
About the Lamela rumor...
1. No way he leaves after half a season after they payed such a huge money for him. All the rumors say loan with no option to buy, why the fuck would we need that?
2. Lamela is good/great player with huge potential, but he is not what some make him to be. He is no better than Ricky imo, even tho he has way better potential.
3. Mazzarri wanths him? Why? Didn't mazzarri liked hard working players that track back and all that shit? He will never see that from Lamela, his workrate is pretty low and he never tracks back.
That being said, i think it's all bull shit. No way it happens. Even tho i like the guy and i think he has the potential to be HUGE player in the future. Wound't say no to him.
and if we have to choose between De Bruyne, Lamela and Mata, Lamela is the last to pick from

There is no logic reason to prefer Lamela on loan than De bruyne. I know Lamela proved himself in Rome, but loan deal without any option....I don't like it. De bruyne is great talent, i really liked him in Bremen, and we can buy him for 10-15M, cheap price for a player that can be worth twice.
Not sure why Spurs even bought him. They already had more attacking players than they know what to do with.
Fuck Menez. Where has he succeeded?
If we want a SS type I'd be happy with Cerci, IMO he's ready for a big club and will contribute immediately.
Cerci would cost a lot too... I can see at least 12/15m valuation price, but Torino could ask more.
shut the fuck up, penispal
what the fuck will Lamela bring us?
I always knew you were too into FM, that's where you get most of your information. Current Ability, Potential ability all FM talk.First of all, stop with the ridiculous name calling routine, especially when I've done nothing to warrant such an insult.
Secondly, Lamela has a shitload of potential, as well as considerable current ability. He could be able to add some much needed directness in our attack, having netted 15 goals in Serie A last year (more than Palacio), quite the achievement for a 20 year old.
At times he can be a headless chicken (which was evident in his first season with Roma); but the quality and footballing IQ is all there, and I'd argue that the step up from Argentina to Italy is monumental (and regardless, he still managed to score 9 goals in his debut season with Roma)
If we can manage to secure a loan WITH an option to buy, I'd be very pleased.
On another note, why the fuck is De Bruyne even being brought up? There's absolutely no chance he'll be coming to Inter, not even a SINGLE rumour.
At least I bring up players that have been actually linked to the club, but this is becoming ridiculous.
