Agreed. Nothing. Alvarez does exactly the same, has a better physique, and better work rate.

Lamela has bigger potential than Ricky, that's for sure... However, what's the point? a loan? Why? Well, already said it:

What a wrote about him in the forward rumors thread:

About the Lamela rumor...

1. No way he leaves after half a season after they payed such a huge money for him. All the rumors say loan with no option to buy, why the fuck would we need that?
2. Lamela is good/great player with huge potential, but he is not what some make him to be. He is no better than Ricky imo, even tho he has way better potential.
3. Mazzarri wanths him? Why? Didn't mazzarri liked hard working players that track back and all that shit? He will never see that from Lamela, his workrate is pretty low and he never tracks back.

That being said, i think it's all bull shit. No way it happens. Even tho i like the guy and i think he has the potential to be HUGE player in the future. Wound't say no to him.

Only one who scored 15 goals in Serie A last year.

and he played in a team where they only attacked

Lamela will score less goals at Inter with the way we play right now. In what position will he play? Will we employ a 3-4-2-1 with Lamela-Palacio pairing and Icardi up top? Who will play in the midfield? We are fragile already. Or just a 3-5-Lamela-Palacio. How will that makes us play better?

That's why I was even against Mata coming here. If Mata plays here, it's going to be like last year. Like the Palacio-Cassano pairing, we would be overdependant on Mata-Palacio. I'm sure we can win more games with Mata, but with this formation it's still going to be a dull affair watching our games. Just a thought. But it is hard to say no to Mata.

So what?

We are loaning a player for only six months. New players need time to settle but Lamela already knows Serie A.

There is no logic reason to prefer Lamela on loan than De bruyne. I know Lamela proved himself in Rome, but loan deal without any option....I don't like it. De bruyne is great talent, i really liked him in Bremen, and we can buy him for 10-15M, cheap price for a player that can be worth twice.

yep, for me mata is the creative player who can reborn us in that point...but no one is expecting him to come here, he is simply to good that someone like psg wouldnt splash money on him...

Of course. If its Lamela loan vs De Bruyne sale than<De Bruyne all day. However, If it's Lamela sale vs De Bruyne sale I'd prefer Lamela.

Not sure why Spurs even bought him. They already had more attacking players than they know what to do with.

We'd have a better squad if we loaned out Belfodil and loaned in Lamela.

But meh, not sure how to feel about this.

Spurs managament ( not AVB ) bought him, I believe that he didn't want Eriksen and another guy aswell.

Lamela will not come.
Tottenham want to loan him without buying option for us,and at the end we don't have the money to make it happen (at least 27m)

IF we'll ever sell Guarin for 15m the club will buy someone with that kind of budget,if not we'll have to be patient and see what kind of deals our management can do without having money for this market.

Lavezzi,Mata,Pastore,Lamela, etc. are ALL bullshits, plain and simple....

Personally I think that only Menez could be a possible target due his contract expiration (and so he could leave for 3/4m at most),even though I don't see the real need of him while I think Mazzarri would welcome a real striker instead of him,but Menez in and Belfodil out would be an improvement for the squad for sure.

Fuck Menez. Where has he succeeded?

If we want a SS type I'd be happy with Cerci, IMO he's ready for a big club and will contribute immediately.

Cerci would cost a lot too... I can see at least 12/15m valuation price, but Torino could ask more.

That's true, but I just don't think we're going to get a player who's actually going to make the squad better and be able to contribute immediately for less than that. If we want to get better eventually we are going to have to spend.

shut the fuck up, penispal

what the fuck will Lamela bring us?

First of all, stop with the ridiculous name calling routine, especially when I've done nothing to warrant such an insult.

Secondly, Lamela has a shitload of potential, as well as considerable current ability. He could be able to add some much needed directness in our attack, having netted 15 goals in Serie A last year (more than Palacio), quite the achievement for a 20 year old.

At times he can be a headless chicken (which was evident in his first season with Roma); but the quality and footballing IQ is all there, and I'd argue that the step up from Argentina to Italy is monumental (and regardless, he still managed to score 9 goals in his debut season with Roma)

If we can manage to secure a loan WITH an option to buy, I'd be very pleased.

On another note, why the fuck is De Bruyne even being brought up? There's absolutely no chance he'll be coming to Inter, not even a SINGLE rumour.

At least I bring up players that have been actually linked to the club, but this is becoming ridiculous.

Well put.

I see him developing into a 20 goal a season player, if a team plays to utilize his strengths. The guy is really more striker than AM, he needs to play closer to the goal where he can use his tricks to be decisive. He's also deceptively strong, I think people get the idea he is a lightweight winger of sorts. He's 6'1 - 150-60 lbs and I've seen him muscle quite a few defenders to hold possession in the midfield, use of his body is one of this strong points. Perfect for SS in Mazzarri's system IMO, just needs to up the workrate a tad.

Wasting breath on a player who will probably never wear our colors, but if he came I'd be estatic. He could be our marqee player.
