According to differente sources, us, Atletico de Madrid and JuBe are after EriK.


Just as he’s starting to settle into life in London, Erik Lamela is being linked with a temporary move away from Spurs, in the form of a possible loan deal.

Both Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan are keen on taking the Argentine winger on loan for the rest of the season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport; both of whom are believed to be ready to give Lamela a guaranteed starting spot for that period.

Still just 21 as many seem to forget, a loan deal may not be the worst solution for Lamela, who’s struggled to reproduce the Roma form that convinced Spurs to fork out £30 million for him.

We should include some kind of option to the loan deal to buy the player. Of course Spurs is not going to let go their 35m€ investment for cheaper, so probably we would have to pay at least 30m€. That would also be Spurs' way out of their possibly bad investment. Of course it would require us to qualify for CL.

1. No way he leaves after half a season after they payed such a huge money for him. All the rumors say loan with no option to buy, why the fuck would we need that?
2. Lamela is good/great player with huge potential, but he is not what some make him to be. He is no better than Ricky imo, even tho he has way better potential.
3. Mazzarri wanths him? Why? Didn't mazzarri liked hard working players that track back and all that shit? He will never see that from Lamela, his workrate is pretty low and he never tracks back.

That being said, i think it's all bull shit. No way it happens. Even tho i like the guy and i think he has the potential to be HUGE player in the future. Wound't say no to him.

The only reason I see as possibility is his workrate, as you mentioned.
It's causing spurs some headache since Lamela likes to sit in a spot, and spurs don't play like that.

I went on couple of Spurs forums and they all seemed to think he needs to be loaned out but only loan. According to them Lamela is their most promising player and there is noway Levy would let go of him specsilly after paying that much money and only half a season being at the club. Accoring to them if they let him go it would be for loan only nothing else. No option to buy either.

I understand this move. We want to get to CL but we don't want to spend and Mazzari thinks someone like Lamela would be good for that purpose.

He is kind of useless in 4-2-3-1 too beacause of his low workrate.He's only suited in 3 forwards formations like 4-3-3 or 3-4-3

Yeah. Lamela has shown he can do havoc in Serie A, so free loan is not considered a terrible option. Though, not sure if Lamela is what we exactly need in attacking department.
