IMO for example that Vucinic - Guarin saga happened because ET was away and wasn't that well informed about the situation. Also it was part because ET was new for these things. At Inter Moratti was so long part of almost every important situations. Now that has been changed dramatically but ET is supposed to be in that same Moratti role and it is not possible. Everyone still thinks ET is like Moratti was or at least wants him to be. For instance Mazzarri was talking about that he would like to talk to the president more often.
I think that it will take a time to get used to this new situation but maybe it would help if there would be someone who takes care of these little things when Thohir is not present. Or then there is just need for better directors. Branca is already gone now so maybe Inter could bring in someone who knows better what he is doing. At Milan it worked pretty well even when Berlusconi was the prime minister so I have no doubts Inter can do the same.
If ET didn't agree to Vucinic - Guarin saga, he didn't need to come over 14 hours flight just to cancel it costing 3000-4000 Euro. All he needed to do is just to pick up his mobile and call Italy, that would cost 100 Euro the most.

Look, this is a modern era. People do business everywhere and anywhere. They don't need to be in the same place where the business is. We can fly from US to OZ in 24 hours nowadays. Technology is much more advance. Conference calls are much cheaper or close to free.

My opinion on Guarin - Vucinic saga? Erick Thohir agreed to it in the beginning, the response from fans were brutal and his reputation in front of fans were about to fall. That's the reason why he pulled that 3000-4000 Euro flight tickets to come over to Milan, to sort of save his ass. Do you really think Erick Thohir let Marco Branca played all his games with Thohir's money? I don't believe it at all. Hence, Marco Branca would not approach Guarin for Vucinic if he had not informed Erick Thohir and Erick Thohir did not say 'Yes, go on.'

This is what I used to say needs to be done, long time before Thohir even bought Inter
and for Thohir to make it happen, he is proving a good businessman, but if he is a good football club president is still something to be proven.
