Next contract he signs will probably be his last big contract. Of course he will ask for good money.
Well that's another thing.

Sometimes i forget this is a business, and someone needs to remind me what De Niro characters tells to Al Pacino in Heat
thing is i always supported this guy because of his passion both out and inside the pitch, and i thought he really wanted to stay here. The comparision with Dimarco is Ok as they have the same age more or less.

Where's the lad? Did we give him Skriniar's treatment?

Skriniar was injured and had 6 months left in his contract. Sidelining Dumfries 18 months before the end of his contract would be Lotito-esque. It would also harm any chance of getting good money for him.

Hopefully he's past his physical issues - for Darmian's own sake, guy needs to rest a bit.

I doubt it has anything to do with that. He started the very first game in January against Verona, and after 20 minutes was on the sideline getting some treatment. Let's not forget he also had to miss a few matches earlier in the season as Inzaghi mentioned he had physical issues. Hopefully he's back fully fit soon.

Only different reasoning. Skriniar was injured and head was already in Paris. While for Dumfries we are forcing him to leave. Or showing that he isnt as important as he thinks and drops his delusional request.

Its not normal this guy is from a starter to getting literally 0'. Especially when he needs pitch minutes to gain match fitness.

This move is a must and correct tbh. The issue is that Buchanan is getting 0' too :palm:

I doubt that this is real. Marotta likes only cash.
🚨 Manchester United have turned down Inter Milan's offer to swap Aaron Wan-Bissaka with Netherlands full-back Denzel Dumfries.

More like we need money so that we can continue spending next summer. I like Wan Bissaka as a defensive option, but we already have Darmian for that and also Buchanan has also been brought

Don't have one.
Reports saying he doesn't even train. His situation is very strange, and it all coincides with broken contract talks. From one of the most reliable players on the team to this. I 100% believe he stopped giving a fuck after we refuse to extend him. Probably got butthurt as well, seeing everybody got an extension except him.

Sky reports that he is on family leave, returns tomorrow and will be fully available for Fiorentina.

Relax.

Let’s be mindful of that. Barella underperformed in the first half of the season and we’ve only learned about his wife’s miscarriage until recently. Dumfries is delusional with his contract demand but he doesn’t seem to be the unprofessional type.

No way, Dumfries is a real pro. It will really dissapoint me if its true. He looked really happy celebrating Supercoppa with other boys.

From what I understand, he didn't train today due to family reasons. He definitely was training for the Supercoppa games, he is even in the videos that Inter posted of their training sessions.

From what I understand, he had different training compared to the rest of the team though due to his physical issues - I saw a fan post this who was able to see Inter's training sessions in Saudi Arabia that Dumfries was going through different exercises.

I feel a lot more is being made out of this in assuming Dumfries is refusing to train or not giving his all. The rumours about not reaching agreement for contract came early in December when he was injured. Once he came back from injury, he started the first game in January versus Verona. During that game, he needed physical attention in the first half (similar to Lautaro vs. Bologna actually when he re-aggravated his injury and missed the next two games). I think it's simply a case of him having physical issues. Even for the Monza game, he was actually predicted to start by SkySport who have been pretty reliable with lineups. It was only changed a day before when (I believe) Guarro mentioned Darmian will start as Dumfries still has physical issues. Even in November, he had to skip a few games here and there (I remember the away game vs. Salzburg) as Inzaghi mentioned he was struggling.

I feel if there's anything we can't question about Dumfries it's his workrate and committment. He has other weaknesses but the guy has a great mentality and works very hard.

Only good things can happen if Manchester United is interested, although I'd hate to see Denzel waste the next years of his career.

who cares.... better than losing him for free. Let's see them make a dumb offer. Would prefer Chelsea they pay 60m for 1 legged players

Good to see him back. As much as I appreciate Darmian, he just cannot offer anything offensively.
