It would be amazing if we actually can get Heinze, but i daubt that Man utd will let him go. The only way we can get him is if we throws alot of cash in their owners face. We all know he loves money more then anything else. he would even sell his mother for money if anyone named the right price. :dielaugh:

Be patient mate. Even SuperHan is slow at times. He's too busy (lazy), y'know.

You forgot that we are likely to have Veron as well next season.

Unless Sir Alex really loses control of the team because of the Glazers, I really do not see Heinze leaving Man Utd though. Sir Alex is obsessed to win the Champions' League and he surely will not want to sell one of the most settled player in this line-up.

cordoba didnt to it himself. miha or matrix too. inter did it. i watched inter against orma and we aore defending damn well! ball didnt even came to miha or matrix! u can have campbell nesta carvaalho terry in defence and u can consider 3 goals a game. midfield is first step to beat to score goal. and inter improved that part on tactics. they defend so well but that is doing all 11 player.. not only cordoba and other central defender.
gamarra is out of contract and burdisso isnt here whole season so we must buy one more defender...and then buy one experiance not to old. samuel is great. but i think i would go for alex before him. cheaper,younger,great prospect...

Well said. Football is a team sport. Just look at Real Madrid they have got Samuel and Helguera both are no slouches defensively but still they are not as watertight at the back as they want to be. This could be due to the tactics they employ as the fullbacks are virtually wide midfielders. This certainly doesnt help both the CD at the back.

If you notice our season is split into two halves. The first was marred by poor defending even though we scored alot of goals. I believe Mancini made some slight changes in the way the players approach the game toning down the attack a little bit while tightening the back. This resulted in a better showing in the 2nd half of the season. But credit should also be given to Cordoba but stepping up after a poor start. Just look how many times he saved Mihajlovic's back.

At 36, Mihajlovic's game is base on anticipating the opposing team's play by snuffing out the dangerous balls into the box but it can prove dangerous without a pacy partner ( Cordoba) alongside. But having said that he certainly has suprised me in terms of contribution when at the start of the season I only expected him to be a backup player at most.

problem for olderr players, miha,maldini,cafu,bergkamp,zola...is summer break! they will do well whole season but after season is over they have 20 days free and that kills them, thats were ages come up! miha did well for us but he will fail in this summer with his form and condition, he will need 2,3 months more then other players to get in form...and big clubs cant aford that.. jkeep him one more season but as backup. bring us samuel or other great defender.

real did awfull job in defense. they are changing defenders like socks, they just cant get it its midfield that does it wrong! gravessen svaed thm a bit but zidane figo and beckham doesnt defend at all...that is killing them...

and they just dont get it....

we dont have that problem, at start of season we defend bad, but mancini was new, players wore new, mancio learned them his tactics and his vision, it needed time to learn and work on it.... now we see results ...last 5 months we did great, we will do even better next whole season,trust me because we have great space and qualittys to grove and become far best world team! and we will do it!

both Matrix and Miha are reaching the age where their fitness is dropping and we need defenders at a younger age..also left back's favalli although he can do a good job defending but he fails to go attack, which would weaken our left flank's attack..although our defence is improving continuously, but we are still weak when opponents' quick attack (like when we verse roma, cassano had a couple of great opportunities)

i saw argentina-australia today...and..samuel sucked again...i guess it's just beacouse the argentinian national team doesnt have a good midfild..just like r.madrid...isnt it?...

It is hard to say though, maybe he is just getting back into the groove of things. Remember at Roma he had the luxury of playing with two CBs. When he went to Real he was thorough exposed at the back with not much help. Still the jury is out on him. If we manage to get him then hopefully he shows the form he had at Roma.

the 16m that we have 2 pay Real is looking bigger by the min.
