I’m curious why can’t this guy be used on the left of midfield? Inzaghi will only play him on the right side and move Barella. I understand if that’s where he’s primarily played but surely we can try him there. Both Barella and Mkhi are capable while being right footed.

I'm not too sure either. The only thing I can think of is that Inzaghi has more trust in the 'experienced' players to adjust.

I’m guessing the thinking is that we attack and expose ourselves a lot more through the left. Inzaghi trusts more defensive-minded, experienced midfielders to cover for Bastoni.

At the same time, I can also see Frattesi’s attacking instincts being displayed more on the left.

Most likely Inzaghi wants to attack on left side and open right side for both Frattesi and Dumfries.

I've been shit-talking him for weeks but that's probably the most important goal of the season :interflag:

I keep repeating that he needs to start more games in a row. He needs to boost his confidence up, and that cannot happen with 15 min at the end of the matches.

I don't think it's a Mkhitaryan vs Frattesi thing. Mkhi moves the ball around much better. That assist to Lautaro was class. But Frattesi needs more minutes. Inzaghi needs to stop keeping Mkhi on for 90 mins. It's not good for him or Frattesi.

Inzaghi must give this guy more than 10-15 fucking lame minutes to build his confidence, yea for now mhiki better, but he 35 and he gonna decline eventually and we need a proper replacement for him when the time will come..

He should start in many games and let Mikhi play last 30 mins. Mikhi with full energy will bring us even more.

Miki is better in some aspects but he is 35 years old, and we have a lot of games till the end. If our target is the scudetto, we need more reliable players from the bench. Confidence cannot be build with 10 min every match.
