It makes more sense to bring Simy and have him as our back up striker for the next 5 seasons. Giroud or Džeko would only be a stand in for the summer 2022 transfers

Spezia are playing some decent football, lots of good team struggled against them (Milan, us, Napoli...). Crotone on the other hand, is really, really in crap form and by far the worst team in Serie A. It's not a must win only, it would be a fucking disgrace to fail to win.

Yes but Spezia was also total crap few games before game against us and against friggin Genoa after. If we continue playing our game and we will, we will suffer against Crotone too. I dont know whats more stressing, when we score early and than play Greece04 till the end or when we play ultra slow, boring with same right flank wreck plan till Darmian comes and scores in 70some minute and than go full mode Greece04 last 15 minutes. Either way witnessing this is fucking your health big time.

Imo we played well vs Spezia but it wasn't our day and it happens to any team. If we play the same vs Crotone we should win, although i believe it should be easier game for us.

If you look at the way the games unfolded, we only deserved 4/6 points from last week's games, and we got 4/6 points, just not from the games that we should've gotten them from. Don't discount what a pain in the ass Verona has been to big sides this year as well as the fact that this team is probably running on fumes at this point. Since the restart of last season, we've played, I dunno, I think 12 Serie A games to end last season + 4 Europa League + 6 Champions League + 4 Coppa Italia + 33 Serie A games this season. All of this packed into a period of time of less than one calendar year, with only one month between the end of the Europa League Final last season and the beginning of this season's Serie A. And then you can add various number of international games for a lot of these guys, plus the usual societal fatigue and wariness over living in pandemic times as well...I'm not saying other teams haven't had to deal with their own issues either, but in terms of seeing why we have some of these games at this point where it looks like some of these guys are just flinging shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks or not, well, it's just been a long time without much in terms of any kind of prolonged break or holiday from the pitch.

If we have the Scudetto clinched either by the time we play Samp, or after we play Samp, I would hardly be surprised if there's a huge amount of rotation for the Roma and Udinese games. And it will be richly deserved.
