Hyderabad,Chennai,Mohali looks the most formidable.
Few unknown players like David Hussey,Boosman have also made it.Dont know whether they are 20-20 specialist or what?

Not for 20/20 cricket. He was one of the biggest hitters in the 20/20 world tournament earlier this year.

Alright. He's is a very good bowler too.

He is a decent bowler. His brother is a much better bowler than him but he is the bigger hitter.

Also Bosman is a 20/20 specialist. The only guy to score a 100 in domestic 20/20 in SA.

Ajesh, David Hussey is of curse - Michael's brother.

David is inches from the australian team and because he playes for victoria is being robbed! jsut like Brad Hodge. Only Warnie from our state could get a regular game (selectors hate our state).

Anyway, David Huss is getting so much cause the guy is an absoltue gem. I wont be suprised if he is top scorer. 2 days ago made a hundered in 60 balls againt NSW and has been in amazing form for the past 2 seasons.

Watch out for Cameron White too. Another Victorian, probably the best pure hitter in australia, even more so then Symonds.

Ponting was bought for like $400,000 which is considerably less given the highest valued players were above 1 M.This is what he had to say

"I thought I might have been able to attract a little bit more than that," Ponting said. "The fact I haven't made a lot of runs over the last couple of weeks probably hasn't helped much. But realistically we as Australian players probably won't be able to take part in the first couple of years of the event anyway."

He's feeling little sorry for himself there.
But i though the Aussies are coming to play.

the australian players still playing test cricket are still obligated to quit the IPL if the pakistan tour goes ahead

thats why

probably why some teams didnt bid as much seeing as those players werent guaranteed to play for them

I see the indians and aussies still have issues. Hayden calling Bhajji a weed and then getting only a reprimand from the CA.

Also warnie being made captain and coach of jaipur must have really thrilled Smith. They don't get along so this is going to be very interesting.

What does it mean to call some one a weed? Isn't that kind of like a compliment?

I wont mind if someone calls me a weed,
all the pretty girls can smoke me. And I would so let them smoke me.

Its more the tone, actually I think Haydos could have got away had he been his usual self. Strange to see him talking undiplomatically, he's among the good guys.

Weldone to the indian cricket teams. Both the under 19's and now the main team. Great wins. Really poor batting by the SA under 19 side in that final couldn't even get full tosses hit to the boundary.

:proud:

The most happiest day after the 20-20 World cup and Calciopoli. I woudnt have given a fark 3 months back, but the things that happened, made me love this tournament.

Australians are arrogant, Indians are too, but the crap both teams dished out to each other will look incredibly stupid in 5-10 years time. Harbhajan wasnt racist, he didnt call Symo a monkey and if you think Bhajji was treated poorly by the media in Aussieland, just wait till Symonds returns in Aussie colors.

I will be there when they play the first game and so will be 50000 other Indians ready to riot.

dude..the test series is the one that was important.

The VB series has never been given priority too that. I mean..england won it last year after having the worst pre final games of their life:lol:

the media could have done more for the Aussie cause...not enough contreversy for the Indians to fail...im predicting a rape or a murder next time India visits Australia..that will get the Indians on the backfoot...

finally respect to the Indian team, after so much shit from all corners they've shown what a champion side they are and adversity cant intimidate them..

like Hal said, the test series were the important phase hence the media scrutiny that was happening around it....the umpires definatley played a part in the Aussie win and that will be remembered inmy eyes anyway....ciao mr Bucknor..retire in peace and live of the ACB grants and presents ....sorry Hal i had to:)

Great Week for Indian Cricket as Stefan said.
Indians were inspirational.Aussies getting stuck in Bhajji backfired he had a brilliant Finals. If the Sydney test Match was fairly officiated Indians would have done a double over Aussies.Anyways its a great achievement.

There was some sort of controversy in the under 19 Match as well.SA Keeper,i guess farnell, said something to Media after the first innings which fired up the Indians.

Everyone gets bad umpire calls, its part of the game. We got them against you guys in one dayers plenty of times and even in the test matches (LBW's), we never said a word. India over-reacted at times.

We fired harby up? he fired himself up. you do know his the most reported player in the history of the game dont you? and his got many years to make that record his very own. The guys a mole, but i enjoy hames when he plays. cricket is boring if there is no biff!

Everybody gets Bad Calls but getting like a half a dozen and from Bucknor, another strange coincidence, thats what irked the Indians.

The Guy is not really a mole. He's honest guy.The whole problem was that he stood upto the Aussies sledging which never happened in the past thats what got to the Aussies.

He might be the most reported and stuff but we dont want to get into the Match Refs and their double standards. If same yardstick was applied to someone like McGrath he wouldnt have played like 100 test matches he would have got himself banned every second match.
