Hey, this hasn't been updated. I was able to watch first semifinal and Argentina was very good at least comparing to Colombia whose offensive play was very, very pathetic. Zanetti was very good and also Tevez was very fresh. Our other Nerazzurri Kily Gonzales wasn't bad either.

So it was Argentina who won Colombia 3-0 with Tevez's, Luis Gonzales' and Sorin's goals. Hope it wil be a Nerazzurri final with Kily, Zanetti and Adriano all featuring it.

Tomorrow morning I can see the Brazil-Uruguay game. Forza Adriano!

edit. Colombia :)

It's Colombia. ;)

And Argentina did play a very good game. I did like J.Zanetti's game today as he made all those usual runs all the time, making one touch passes and then crossing. :proud:

I will also be watching Brazil-Uruguay match tomorrow morning and hope that Adriano will add more goals to his tally. I am hoping for a Brazil-Argentina final.

Forza J.Zanetti and Adriano, also Kily. :)

Argentina were obviously more talented then Colombia, but last night the reason why they won is because Colombia was so badly organized. The scoreline was unfair because the Colombians seemed to have been the better team in the 2nd half in terms of controlling the possesion, but they didn't do squat.

Zanetti was magnificent, very attacking game on his part. Running at defenders and delivering some quality crosses, his best at the Copa America IMO.

The scoreline never lies! If the game is not affected by either fatal referee mistakes, cheating or other irregular illegal stuff the result will always reflect the fair outcome.

What is soccer all about? Scoring and not conceding. Simple if you ask me. ;)

I am watching the Brazil-Uruguay game and Uruguay are winning 1-0 until now...
Adriano seems ok although i saw him get upset . He also seems to be playing way too far outside at times but i guess he is doing whatever it takes to score right now...First half almost over.

I cannot believe Uruguay's goal...completely the GK fault. The Uruguayan player headed it and it took a bounce right in front of the GK and went in right next to his head. :yuck:
The GK ,to be fair did have a couple of good saves though.

AdriAAAAANOOOOOOOO scores in the first minute of the second half after he connected with a beautiful assist by Fabiano(i think, evnthough the commentator said Alex) from the right hand side. :star: :star: :star:
As i am writing this Adriano has another shot that went close. The man is on fire i just he brings that to us,more importantly he comes healthy.

This should end 3-1 to Brazil.

Brazil got lucky, i am sad seeing Urugay out.
Uruguays goal wasnt the best of goals..pure misjudgmenet by keeper so how are Brazil the lucky ones. They had many chances too and won on penalties by scoring all their penalties.(maybe some luck in penalties ;) )

Your right Zizou(how about that for a nickname) :D but i mean Uruguay really played very well especially in the 1st half.
Brazilians were better overall the whole tournament but they didnt play as expected against Uruguay. On the contrary Uruguary played one of their best matches.

Cool ;). I hate the Argentinan coach and i wanted the team to get out from the 1st round so they can sack him, but now they are in the final. I am still not convinced with his abilities but really they are more complete than the Brazilians and i can see them winning it and therefore ill have to stick with this coach for a few more yrs.

I dislike Bielsa too since i think he wasted all that talent those years. Finally they look like they are playing better but this is the Coppa and i doubt them doing as well with more teams. The problem is as u said it seems they wont ditch him untill 2006 if he wins, and its 2006 where they will suffer. :depress:

Javier Zanetti
Capitano Zanetti :proud:

He's having a great time at the Copa America. Kily started pretty well but now he's just average. I guess his performance dropped because of the absence of D'Alessandro. He linked-up pretty well with him (and Sorin too.)

Adriano, of course, is fantastic. :star:

So, who would you guys support in the final ?

for me, JZ's team. Without a doubt.

Even though I am a Brazilian supporter (not a die hard fan now, but still a bit), I guess I will be happy if J.Zanetti wins this cup. As said by one of our friend here, Adriano still has got lots of time for trophies but same can't be said about J.Zanetti. So ?? still not sure though

Adriano - #10
I'm a diehard Brazil fan and I seriously don't care if Javier plays for Argentina. I want to see Adriano and Brazil obliterate Argentina and lift the cup with Adriano hitting a hat trick. BTW did I say I have money riding on this game? :D

Ditto. I am a die hard Brazil fan and never wish Argentina anything but bad luck, but as an Interista i feel a great deal of pity towards Capitano when he continues to be beaten in those great South American clashes that Brazil and Argentina have.

Having said that, it's tough luck. I hope that Brazil just destroy Argentina and it would be quite sweet if Adriano was the one putting the ball in the back of the net.

The prospect of tommorow's final is mouth watering, a football fans wet dreams. :D
