Club OR Country?

Hey Guys,

I know this is an Inter forum, but who do you support more, club or country?

For me, I am of 100% Italian ancestry, but I have so much trouble supporting Italia, because they have so many Gobbi and Merda. When "our" only player on the team is Materazzi, a marginal player in the scheme of the Italian game, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I become emotional when I see the deep blue of the Azzurri kit, but immediately disgusted at the sight on the names on the back (Cannavaro, Gattuso, etc.) How can I stand for a flag, yet hate those who bear it?

In fact, during national team football, I find myself cheering for the success of individual Inter players. I hope Adriano is the competition's top scorer, and wish his confidence on the national stage translates to success with Inter.

The exclusion of Zanetti and Samuel was even noticed by the dummy American commentators who mentioned it TWICE during the match. If Argentina had those boys in the back, I would cheer for them all the way.

Hell yes I do. Deep down, I love Gilardino, Buffon, Gattuso etc. Obviously there's some players I hate (Cannavaro) but I don't have anything against the others. When Pirlo scored those 2 free kicks vs. Scotland I almost blew my load. When Del Piero scored the equaliser in 02 I broke my moms picture frame of her anniversary and got f-cking yelled at...Juve players, Milan players, Inter players...they're all Italians

I was I big fan of Italy in 98.. Bergomi, Pagliuca, Moriero, Vieri, Baggio, Maldini, Del Piero, Di Biaggio.. they were a true team :heart:.

Since 2002, I hate every player there, except Inte players. Lets hope things change after this WC.

I feel the same way (almost) I love Inter more then I love my national team. But I do care about Denmark, and get depressed when we lose or don't manage to qualify for the finals.

and then I have a little Italian and Brazilian in my stomach.

Well, since canada's not in the world cup, (or Somalia, which is most fcked up at the moment anyway) is in the world cup, it's club b4 country. I support africans first, then teams with beautiful soccer, then teams with Inter playres.

I'm an Interista AS WELL AS an Italian, so I support both flags. However, just as I will never hate Inter (the club and the colors) because of a poor coach or player, I will never hate Italia for the selection of players or the tactics of the coach.

However, I will never be a Juventino or Merdanista, so I find no obligation to love their players.

Plenty of people disliked Veron, but they still support Inter as a whole,and just as I might not like the Gobbi or Merda, I still support I TAL IA !!!

I hope to see this kind of passion from Italy when they play Ghana. Mexico is thousands of kilometers from Germany, Italy is only hundreds. Don't let me down, brothers and sisters of Italy!

Well, that's a difficult question, days ago i was talking with some friends who are barça fans if they prefer to win cl with barça or the world cup with the spanish nt, one of them rather the world cup cause it's only every 4 years, and the other, don't give a fuck about the nt, he only cares about his team..
i don't really know what to say.

2-ESPANYOL
3-SPANISH NT
4-OTHER NT who i like
