Ranieri has been replaced by three U-40 coaches in Ferrara, Montella and now Stramaccioni.

CdS says we will still pay Ranieri 2M :yao: The man should be paying Inter 2M.

"Today the Corriere dello Sport has attempted to assume the terms for terminating the contract with Inter Milan by coach Claudio Ranieri Rome. This morning, the technician will greet the team and will collect the last month of the season. Furthermore, it should receive a portion of the 2 million engagement established by the previous contract for next season."

Why are you surprised? The clause if you sack someone is to pay of the reminder of his contract. His contract is worth 2 mils per year, and we will pay it.

That's why Chelsea paid 4*5mils to Boas

Great news!!! My fellow romanian interista from Arad kept telling me yesterday all day that Ranieri will be sacked & he hopes for Strama to come since he follows closely the Primavera. He kept on bugging me that he has info that Ranieri will be fired and I didn't believe him, because I lost faith in our management for the huge tolerance they had for Ranieri's awful stupid mistakes [+should have been fired after Marseille 1st leg or 2nd, at most!]

FINALLY! EVENTUALLY!!!! Now go troll other teams! Tinkerman my ass! He has very fixed and old-fashioned boring tactics, with only concern being not to concede, and after conceding no ideas how to come back in a game! No ideas how to attack! 0 offence creativity ... ZER0! His substitutions and lineups were fuckin` ridiculous! Most worthless coach for me in the last 15 years of Inter!!!

I always rated him as a loser and appointing him was a miserable mistake!

Another day, another manager at Inter.

This will continue until Moratti realize the aging, devoid-of-talent squad is more a problem than the manager.

I said this when Leonardo left: you should have tried to keep him at all costs.

Stop blaming the coaches seriously. Gasperini asked them to retain Eto'o, Moratti sold him. He asked them to sign Palacio, Moratti signed Forlan after failing on Tevez, Alexis Sanchez and Lavezzi. Gasperini asked for Nainggolan, Moratti thought he wasn't good. Palacio scored 15 goals and 4 assists this season so far. Nainggolan is easily one of the best midfielders in Serie A this season. Ranieri asked them to keep Motta, Moratti sold him. All the blame is on Branca and Moratti. No excuses.

but Moratti and Branca didn't ask him to sub every best players in every match. The same team won 7 in a row, how could it possible that the same team lose so many in a row? Yes, MM and Branca have done many faults but Ranieri has done lots of fuck-ups too and those fuck-ups Ranieri did have nothing to do with the transfer, we lost every game lately is purely to tactical inferiority.

I agree. Yet, tactical is on the jobs description of coaches not MM or Branca. Now intervention is needed when things didnt go as planned. When we won 7 games in a row, we definitely showed a smalll glimpsed of what yet to come from this team. Now is changing coach really worth it? Coaches made bad calls. Its called tweaking with line ups. Sometimes its working sometimes it aint. Im not agreeing with some of Ranieris decision to change and sub the best players on the pitch. But imagined the atmosphere and the "comfort zones" that changed along with coaches changes. WE WILL NEVER FIND our FORM again when the directives are all lost and somehow disenfranchised. This is exactly what happened. Now u can blame ranieri all u want. The fact of the matter is, EVERYBODY NEEDS TIME. How much time did u say? Enough time for management to realize that its not an easy job being a coach.

We kept talking about rebuilding, but this thing that we have is like a 40yo with mid life crisis. But hey, what do I know right? Maybe moratti and branca are tweaking the whole team too now as what ranieri did in the past by subbing the best player on the pitch. Yes, ranieri made a bad call for the tweaking. AND YES, management has a very complicated definiton of REBUILDING. And one more thing, try and LISTEN to coaches. Sorry if I blasted moratti harshly. Just stating the obvious.

Bad calls cannot be 13 matches in a row with no 1 good call at all. The 7 wins in a row were not convincing at all. Appointing Ranieri was already a mistake. As I said, MM and Branca have done miraculously crazy in transfer and appointing coaches but this team is really capable much more from what they are showing. That's the coach job to explore more of these players ability. Yes, changing coaches wouldn't solve the case but having Ranieri on bench is like having a cancer and this step taken by MM have to be appreciated highly. Whether it is right or wrong to appoint Stramaccioni is still questionable but sacking Ranieri is definitely a right thing to do. And, NO, listening to coaches doesn't mean we will go the right direction. They didn't listen to Mourinho but players they brought for Mourinho worked well with Mou. Mou took out all abilities from each players and made them the best. My point is appointing the right coach is part of rebuilding.

The whole point is, the "inter-governmental" relations needs to be fixed. Everybody in the team made mistakes starting from the coach, players and the management. EVERYBODY have their own share of responsiblities. Like a cancer really? I got no beef against Moratti. I got issues with how he handled things as of late. Oh they listened to Mou alright. Quaresma, Mancini to name a few. Right direction needs process. Everything is about process. Did we stopped playing after years and years with scudetto on our hands? No. Did we stopped playing after the treble years? No. We need to move forward. And you said, the coach's job to explore. Hence, TWEAKING. Define the "right coach". Mourinho was the right coach AFTER he won the treble. ALONG THE WAY, he got everything he needed from the management both personally and professionally. Imagined how u would react if this morning youre being told and your job is safe and got sacked in the afternoon. The consistency is lacking. Thats what makes the inter-relations between areas are misconstrued, hence everything is misapplied. And I didnt say LISTEN = right direction. What I meant was for management to listened everything the coaches has to say and vice-versa and now THERES your 2way streets of discussion.

Convincing or not, a win is still a win. And we got exposed after that with streaks of losses. All im saying is, you cannot put the blame solely to Ranieri.Shit happens and it came from everybody. But since Mou left, NOBODY gets a single chance. EVEN leonardo. If i was MM, I wouldve hold on to Leo whatever it takes. How can u expect different results if youre repeating the same process over and over again? Give time.

Yes, they brought Quaresma and Mancini. Did they shine? No. Then Mou asked for Carvalho, Drogba, Lampard. Who did he get? So, listening to coach isn't always the right thing to do. Mou gained his respect, trust and everything by proving himself on the pitch. You said nobody get a single chance? Really? Benitez wasn't gonna get sacked if he could behave his mouth in a better way after the final. As for Leo, there is many stories about his leaving, but I believe he has flirted with PSG bcs there was no sign at all he was gonna be asked to leave. Then, Gasperini was just too stubborn with his 3 line defence and lost the team support. Ranieri has been given a full support, Ranieri is the only manager could survive up to 13 bad performances in a row under Moratti. If Moratti wasn't being supportive, Ranieri would be sacked 2 months ago and we would probably still in the CL.

The right coach is the one who can create a new team slowly and step-by-step. Change is not made in 1 night like what Benitez tried to do. We can't just ask everyone in the team to leave after they won us CL title. Change should be made by a long-term plan. Injecting new blood and replacing the oldies. It took 5 years to build the team that won us CL title. As MM said, we can't just play all youngsters, we need a balance, but since Mou left, there is no good understanding between coach and boards. The only one was probably Leo, but then he chose to leave. Then the mistake of appointing wrong coaches kept going.

But, it's true. Ranieri = cancer in the team. You don't believe, ask Chelsea fans and Jube fans. I knew it was wrong since the day he was appointed as our coach. He is no more than a third class coach. That was one of the biggest blunder MM has ever done in picking a coach. Probably, second to Lippi.
