The age thing is retarded. I don't mean to compare the two, but Heynckes won the treble in his late 60's.

How did he try to 'block' Ranieri? Why would he have any say in the matter?

Anyway, Raymond Domenech is a cancerous cunt. Everything Domenech wants, I want the opposite of. I wish him nothing but suffering and misfortune, sincerely.

Ranieri about Spalletti and his time at Inter:

"I can't make an evaluation of Spalletti's work so far. Our job is a great one but also a very difficult one. There are many differences between Rome and Milan. At Inter I didn't have much time to know the enivronment and I was also unlucky because they sold the likes of Thiago Motta and Coutinho when I was there. When those two players were there Inter were bouncing back after a rough start, but then when Motta decided to leave for PSG the team slowed down".

I wonder if he’s talking about Coutinho making his point relative to his skillset now or then.

Coutinho barely even touched a blade of grass in Meazza when he was in charge, albeit within understandable reasons. I just don’t see how Coutinho could have been pivotal back then and changed Ranieri’s outcome with us.

Thiago Motta yes, Coutinho most definitely not.

Can't believe Milan chose Pioli over Ranieri when the latter has steadied some pretty terrible ships.

The guard of honor from Sampdoria players was his suggestion to the squad. Always a footballing gentleman. Grazie Claudio.
