Stamford Bridge is hell and Zhirkov, Essien, and Cech will be back I believe. This would mean no Malouda LB defending and more option up front for Chelsea. More shit can happen between now and then though so let us wait and see.

To be honest i'm not that fussed whether Cech plays or not as I don't think hes as good as he was. On the other hand, i'd like to see either, Drogba, Anelka, Lampard or so get injured just for the 1 day so they miss the game!:smileani:

P.P.S. Now that Santon will be back for the return leg, do you think Zanetti will play alongside Cambiasso in midfield or remain at LB? I think that Santon seems to raise his game in the big matches.

Chivu is back training but I think he's just beginning the early stages of his full rehabilitation. If I had to hazard a guess I would say he could be back for the last few matches of the season. There's no way in Hell he'll be back for the return leg at Stamford Bridge.

I'd like Santon to play at LB..
He would offer more of an attacking option down the left than Zanetti would. And Zanetti has been good in midfield for the past few months.

To be honest with you I don't think Malouda done bad at all at LB (considering it isn't his normal position) I think Zhirkov is dangerous going forward we will need to watch him when he does.

3 weeks is a long time in terms of football - so hopefully we don't get any1 injured and Drogba albeit he was rubbish tonight - picks up a knock and misses 2nd leg

to be fair we never tested Malouda in the first half since Stankovic was almost invisible. Balotelli gave him a hard time when he came on though.

I hope we don't lose any of our key players - especially Samuel, Lucio or Cambiasso - they are very important.

Agree about Cech. Since he got that head injury, he hasn't quite been the same. I thought he was a bit dodgy on Milito's goal.

I would say that if we play like we did in the majority of the game it will be at best 0-0 for us. So I feel will not score and might concede if we play extremely conservatively. If we play like we did after conceding, then I think we can even pull a win, given that some of our players are on their 'good day', and we can have as full a squad as possible.

So Cech will be out for sure? It seemed pretty serious

We should definitely NOT do that. Cuz a lot of IF's never go right. We should attack first and score at least once and then play the defensive game.
