I tend to agree, but you forget they are an English team and more comfortable playing free flowing football then we are. If we go toe to toe with them in the attack they would most likely win. We need to defend this lead. Parking the bus is looked down upon, but as long as it gets us to the 1/4s who gives a shit what people think. Don't you know that La Grande Inter played ugly, tactical football (aka Catenaccio) under our 2 time Champions League (well, European Cup) winning coach, Helenio Herrera?

La Grande Inter played Catenaccio but that team had such 10/11 world class players and nowdays would be the best squad in the world hands down.
Of course we can't be as creative or intense as Chelsea but our mentality should be playing to win always and in the same way at home or outside,I liked the way we played tonight so we need to repeat a game like this in London (with Eto'o and Deki in better conditions)

To be honest with you I don't think Malouda done bad at all at LB (considering it isn't his normal position) I think Zhirkov is dangerous going forward we will need to watch him when he does.

3 weeks is a long time in terms of football - so hopefully we don't get any1 injured and Drogba albeit he was rubbish tonight - picks up a knock and misses 2nd leg


P.S. I don't think Cech is the same as he was a couple of years ago and can definitely be beaten once again.
