Some interesting stuff coming from France btw. Because you love my UEFA Coefficiency points shit so much, I continue with them. Lyon is getting out of the championship race in France and at the moment they are sixth in the league. It's very unlikely they can win it anymore, but it's pretty tough for them to reach even CL spots. There is Bordeaux leading the pack, 5p ahead with a match in hand. Then there is Montpellier 5p ahead, Auxerre 4p ahead and Marseille 2p ahead with a match in hand.

What this means to Inter? Inter is 11th in Team ranking and for example teams like Liverpool, Sevilla, Lyon and Werder Bremen ahead of it. If three of those four teams fail to qualify to the CL, we can get back to the first pot. Werder looks pretty certain they won't make it, so we need 2/3 of the remaining teams I mentioned. With 'Pool it looks pretty tough too, they would have to play like motherfuckers for the rest of their season to beat both Spurs and ManC.

Sevilla is not fourth at the moment but they are so close I think they will eventually qualify, they will beat Mallorca in that competition. So Lyon comes as the third required team to fuck up their CL qualification.

It would be huge for Inter to get back to that pot. We would get some credibility again (though RM is also in 2nd pot, but they are a joke), and foremost, we wouldn't have to face some tough opponents in the group. Thus having better chance to get lesser opponents in Round of 16. And that way getting our Euro confidence high on a constant basis. And more coeff-points in group stage to cement our place in the first pot again.
Thanks for the info. Seems that we have a good shot at going back to the first pot.

It would deffinetly be very good for us, and as it seems we are over our CL bug, we could become a force to be reckoned with in CL, like Chelsea has for last couple of years.

If all of the leagues ended today, this is what the qualifications would look like in Europe for 2010-11:

The Country Ranking is based on the final 2009 rankings. These numbers are set in stone for the 2010-11 Champions League. The numbers next to each team, is their current coefficient total. This number can still grow if the teams are still competing....

I dont see a reason why they cant..I would actually be supporting them if it isnt for this coefficient stuff.

Bayern shouldn't even be in the QF's after that awful reffing performance in the 1st leg against Fiorentina. On the other hand, Man Utd just destroyed an Italian team (granted it was Bilan) that are probably slightly better than the Viola. Personally I don't care much as I despise both teams but I think United will advance in that one.

I can't see how they could win against M.U...Milan and Bayern are similar from a lot of points of few...i'm not seeing that M.U is gonna win easy, but still...I think i would rather put more trust in a team like Lyon.

Bayern's defence can't and shouldn't be able to contain Rooney at all, especially that hole in the defence made by Van Buyten and that joke of a goalie Butt. But they are still quite dangerous in the attack, especially Robben.

However, I'd be very surprise if Bayern pull this off and make it to the semis.

ManYoo have to be overwhelming favorites in their tie with Bayern but their advancement is not guaranteed, obviously.

That first leg in Allianz will be the key, IMHO...If Ribery & Robben can terrorize ManYoo and get a 2 goal advantage, it's anyone's tie

I dont rate Man U's defence highly when it comes to dealing with the likes of Robben and Ribery in full form... If their defence plays well and somehow stops Bayern, IMO their attacking instincts and Rooney should see them through quite easily.

Also our game and Ars-Barca would happen at the same time. So I won't get to watch our game live

It will be showed delayed after the Arsenal-Barca game.

Ribery or Robben should take care of Rafael easily.

So you'd rather watch the Arsenal - Barca match live at the expense of watching ours?

I said that the Arsenal game will be at 12-2, then the Inter game delayed from 2-4.

What will I do? Simple, do not even watch the Arsenal game and then switch on at 2 for Inter.
