First that penalty in the first leg, and now this off-side goal that has sealed this round. I'm getting fed up with these wrong calls that goes in Milan favours every phucking season.

let's not forget that Inter scored a goal from offside for 1-0 at the SS vs Valencia ... maybe if your team had been able to take advantage of that and actually do something in Europe for a change, you wouldn't be so sour.

This is simply the worst Champions League season ever.

Only if we have BBilan's luck..

And with luck, I don't mean only the referees.

Seriously, what is this?

1- Lille.
2- AEK.
3- Anderlecht.
4- Celtic.
5- Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich are one of the worst teams in the Champions League, starting from the knock-out stages.

That team has no mentality to win at all.

Now i think pool will win it with rafa in charge they just have to win it. In the league he might make stupid moves somtimes. But look at him in the CL he s a genius look what he did to barca he s team was tacticaly perfectly prepared. so i got my bets on them also the y re the pnly team left wich i don t hate.

Ohh yeah and i don t mind milan making it to the final as loong as they dont win i just dont want the all english final They alredy think they re the best, imagin if there s an all english final :yuck: they re gonna talk about this fore the next 30 years!!

30 years?? They are talking about 66 for 40 years now....I guess an all-english final would make them talk about it for the next 80 years coming. terrible!

I believe that Chelsea will this time edge out Liverpool. Chelsea are too hungry to win it this time, and even more hungry and determined to knock Liverpool out. They will go into it with a whole different attitude.
I wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea win one of these games with 4-1 or something...

Are you familiar with the new offside rules? You know they change every once in a great while. There was nothing wrong with that goal, ask anybody who knows something about football.

Grande Milan, we're in the semifinal for the 3rd time in a row, great achievement that can only be done by a great club..I'm so proud that I'm lost for words at the moment..:proud:

My fellow Milanisti, it's not time to argue – it's time to celebrate..Who cares about some pathetic comments about refereeing anyway? We all know there has been calls made against us just as some of them have been made in our favour..Lets preserve our dignity and try not to respond to all kinds of expected remarks about our success..This is an Inter forum afterall..

Man Utd next, my prediction goes for the final already: Milan-Liverpool..Revenge? Of course.. :D

Forza Milan..

obviously someone isn't familiar with the rules here 'cause all comments I heard about that situation were the same - offside, and no it wasn't the passive one because when ibra (I think) headed towards the Valencia goal, Cambiasso was offside and took the rebound from an offside position and scored ... that's as pure an offside as it gets.

I have that game on DVD and played that particular situation several times so I can only advise you to do the same ;).

I am not saying that the refs did that intentionally as it wasn't an easy call to make but just because this is an Inter forum and some, or rather most, people here dislike Milan, it is not a reason to lose one's objectivity and start making ridiculous statements ... for instance, I am a Milan but you don't see me denying that Pippo's goal tonight was from offside, do you?

How do these animals always do it?

they have had their backs to the ropes the entire season, against Celtic they were so poor and against Bayern they looked gone, and again...they make it to the Semi finals of the Champions League. they still have something we don't, self confidence.

I dont care what anybody says, I still know we are a better team than milan. Beating them 2/2 occasions and consistently doing better then them in the league is proof of this.

However, credit to them for performing on t he night. Luckily for them they werent missing a Cambiasso and Vieira for 2 legs...

oh well, the biggest shame about the CL is that I hear Australian and American sports people say there is now a chasm between Italian and English league..that is very sad, very very sad.

I guess the only way to prove them wrong is for Milan to dish Man U a beating, but then that conflicts with my hatred towards Merda. Ah so many conflicting emotions, I dont want Man U or "Pool to win cause I hate their fans and I hate the media's jerking off to them. I dont want Milan to win for Obvious reasons...

That leaves Chelsea...obviously im already a Chelsea supporter so id want them to win, but even if i wasnt I would be praying for milan to hush Man U, the english and the media and then be beaten by Chelsea in the final.

We are twice the team that Milan is. We have twice the quality that they have. But CL just isnt about quality, quality counts for only 50% in CL. the remaining 50% is about luck, having balls, ability to soak up pressure.
Milan have had their fair share of luck in this competition, but as the saying goes by 'Luck favours the brave' . Plus they have players who have ability to handle pressure much better. Our players completely falter under pressure.
Plus I dont think we will win CL under Mancini. Not criticizing Mancini, but he aslo cant handle pressure. He is just too afraid to take risks in CL. For 2 years we have been kicked out by teams that dont have half the quality that we did. I was honestly way too disappointed at the manner we got out this year, even when we were the better team, and played better in both the legs.
I really do hope they bring the 2nd group stage back. That will surely reduce the element of luck in CL.

On this year's CL, I still have my fingers crossed that something happens and Uefa cancels that CL. Realistically though, I really really want Milan to sock it to those Manwhores. I was listening to sky after Milan-Munich today, and all they kept on talking about was how Looney and Ronaldo will give Maldini and Nesta nightmares. And how Alex Ferguson shouldnt really be worried about facing Milan, blaah blaah.

I'm definetely still going for Man United.

Milan looked 5 times better than the times we played them, its amazing how good Nesta is when he's 100% fit.

Yeah, that'll happen when those 2 continents are full of people British ancestry.

Anyways, this is the worst CL Semi's I can even imagine. This is almost as bad as that JuBe-Bilan final way back. Chelsea-Livepool will be boring as fvck as per usual and United-Bilan.... well I just plain don't like those two teams. Looking back, I'm quite glad I never made that bet with Diavolo. :)

I fully share your sentiment. C.L this year couldn’t get any worse. 3 English clubs and a mediocre Milan complete the 4 in the semis. I’m extremely ambivalent as to which team I would like to progress to the final and ultimately win it.

However based on all 4 teams’ performances through out the season I guess Man U deserves the title. They play the most entertaining football and have been a dominant force in their domestic league. The same cant surely be said to the other 3 – specially not Milan.
Now without taking away too much from them but they are among the last 4 because they had an undemanding group (Anderlecht, AEK Athens & Lille) and then managed to ‘just’ overcome Celtic in extra time. Their best 2 leg tie performance in this year was against Bayern – which I guess is what this competition is about; to have a pretty decent timing as to when to perform.

This is the C.L and rarely the best team wins the trophy. Luck, injuries and your performance on the night totally outweigh your overall season performance. So I wouldn’t be too surprised if Liverpool won it again LOL

As Mehdi said, I’m all for the k.o stage as well. Hence I just have to put up with shit like this lol
I know its wishful thinking but I just prefer to see the winning team having had a great season domestically as well. Hence although I really don’t like Man U (specially since that famous first leg tie in Manchester where ultimately resulted in us being knocked out of the same tournament back in the 98-99 season) - I guess I don’t mind them winning it at the end.

Finally I just hope we wont see another zzzzz 2 leg tie between Chelsea and Liverpool or Milan – juBe final just because they know each other so well.

These luck posts are so lame. Sure we had luck but as shahz_nerazzurri said: 'Luck favours the brave'. Play-off rounds are not about winning but staying alive. Winning is something that poisons your mind. You have to think about staying in the competition. Just like Pistons start their NBA play-offs with Going to Work, just like Azzurri sucked in all the criticism in WC and kept fighting. You really should give a though on it. Take all your quality, I'd still take a team that fights till the end and puts out everything. Face it - your team doesn't have that and that's why they shouldn't be in the semis too.

I remember someone here played poker. What was the 'Bible' of Poker? There was said that playing on a table and on a tournament is a very different story. Just like play-offs and league.

So I guess you don't know the rule interpretation. Like I said ask somebody, tell you the truth I have to read it again to explain it. I only know it wasn't offside because I read it in three different papers. 100% not offside, doesn't matter that Cambiasso was "offside" when Ibra toed the ball, that's all I know.

Oh and yea, Pippo's goal was 100% offside. We agree on that.;)

Yeah whatever... The competition has sunk a lot.

It'll be GREAT to see the ba$tards in red win it this time, specially that there are 3 teams from England this time. But I'm not confident they can go to the final. I wanna see what their stupid media will say when they have 75% chance of winning it and lose, while the last time that happened, we had an Italian final, and Juventus had beaten the last GREAT Real Madrid side.

But I hope I see a Liverpool-Milan final again. Last time it was in a former Greek capital, Constantinople, now it's going to be on the current Greek capital, Athens. Maybe luck will change for Milan if they go. (and it was Liverpool-Chelsea in the semis again and it's Milan against the team that beat the team that beat Lyon:lol: (last time it was the team that beat Lyon...)

Idiots League... no champions playing this time... :grumpy:

P.S: Bring back the groups:frustrat:
