Spaghetti has usually a diameter of 2mm (cooked), anything substatially (+/- 0.5mm) thinner or thicker is called Spaghettini or Spaghettoni respecitvely. I am 1/3 Italian.

I think either one of Lamela, Perisic or Lavezzi could arrive before the Carpi game. But no way any one of them will get a starting spot ahead of Palacio or Jovetic.

How can you be 1/3 Italian? :pokerface:

Because his dad is Anakin Skywalker, conceived by midichlorians. That is the only realistic explanation, young Shark is the chosen one.

He will bring balance to the force. :work:

If 2 of his grandparents are Italian, their child (OP's parent) must be full Italian as well. Effectively making OP 1/2 Italian...

That is not necessarily true.

Assuming two grandparents are Italian (on the father side), then father must be 100% Italian.

Assuming two grandparents have different nationalities (on the mother side), i.e. Scottish and Eskimo, then mother is 50% Scottish, 50% Eskimo.

Then the son of the father and mother would have three blood types (or nationalities?), Italian, Scottish and Eskimo.

From a simple count, that is 1/3.

However, I failed biology, I do not know if they have an equal ratio or if there is meant to be a dominant blood type/nationality. Logically, he can alternatively be 50% Italian, 25% Scottish, 25% Eskimo.

But again, I'm not a biology expert, so I do not know.

My head hurts, but I think he would be 50% Italian, and 25% Scottish and Eskimo

Each person only has 2 parents, so as far back as you go, the denominator (# of ancestors) has to be a power of two. (2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, and so forth) The numerator can be any value up to the denominator.

N = #of a nationality in your heritage, T = #total relatives.

If N/T = 1/3, then I = T/3. Which is impossible. However, with an infinite amount of relatives you could get very close. Like 33.33333333333

Another way of putting it is that there would have to be an integer value x where 2^x is an integer divisible by three and you can prove that's mathematically impossible using modular arithmetic.

I love how people are taking what Shark said so seriously... :awyeah:
