Close to being MOTM for me, coming on following De Vrij injury and living dangerously at first with all those fouls, but stepped up to challenge throughout the 2nd half. In fact lots of candidates for MOTM: Acerbi, Sommer, Darmian and Barella with Hakan, Thuram and Lautaro getting kudos as well. Really a team MOTM imho.

Looked pretty solid at CB. Small sample size but I’d like to see him there more. I feel like in a way he looks better there from a technical standpoint. Sometimes his touch isn’t the best when he’s in tight spaces on the wing, thats one thing Dimarco has on him. The only issue is when he plays LCB we have no back up for Dimarco. The Bisseck signing should have been a back up LCB in hindsight.

Complete necessity today. He did a good job and held his own against Politano. If Bastoni doesn't return against Udinese, he's going to have to play there again.

He should start again versus Udinese. We need his attacking threat more than Acerbi's security against 16th team in the table.

He should actually start as LWB against Udinese imo. Udinese have this guy Ebosele as a right-wing back who is an absolute beast physically and fairly quick. The guy would demolish Dimarco.

Going back to Carlos Augusto, such a good signing. A player that can cover multiple roles to good effect is such a positive. This was a difficult game to come into. I think he only played twice as an LCB for us but it was in the last 10 minutes in matches when we were attacking (I believe it was against Sociedad and Benfica). This guy is also very good in the air, a lot better than you would think. I prefer to see him as LCB compared to Acerbi. Still not sure how often Inzaghi would do that, as I think he likes having two wing-backs to come in off the bench.

Acerbi thrives in the middle. He’s just so much better compared to LCB. Until Basto recovers, I’m onboard with Augusto starting after this one. Really positive stuff.

Congrats on having the balls to be instantly the next Darmian of this Inter. Dude will is showing that he can do more than what some expected from him.

He’d need to be able to play RWB & RCB to be on par with Darmian. Granted he’s way better than Dimarco as a LCB

The idea of Darmian, not the position. Altho it is the same position, just inverted

I understand what you mean. But Darmian could play RCB/RWB/LCB/LWB. Not sure if Augusto can play on the right yet

I'd like to see a bit more from him in terms of scoring/assisting when he plays as a wingback. He was a good goal scorer last year at Monza. For some reason when he plays wingback here he always seems a step too slow in getting his cross away. We've seen some good shots from him though, been a bit unlucky there.

Last minutes vs Lazio, Frattesi should have passed to Carlos to tap in. Would have been a huge confidence boost.

Our best player, Dimarco offered nothing when he came.

Very solid, all-around player. I still think we haven't seen the best of him offensively but the guy is very versatile and offers a lot.
