Carlos Augusto is made out for our 3-5-2 instead of Gosens who is a player who needs to be engaged by the forwards/midfielders to be effective.

Di Marco and Carlos Augusto can create dangers by their own.

Augusto is a top player.

I feel the same about Gosens, but unfortunately he cannot play any position apart from left wing-back. Keeping a player of his age and his calibre only as a second choice to Dimarco is not something we can do right now. Augusto is younger and more versatile.

Inter and Gosens wasn’t meant to be. Good deal all around.

Nope. The obligation works in 2024/2025.

Marotta knows that he has to sell Samardizc for 60 mil next year so he can buy back Carlos Augusto. Oh wait, Samardzic is not done yet..

Samardzic was "done" over 2 weeks ago, had his medical and he still hasn't signed a fucking contract with us. That's not even mentioning the whole agent/father fiasco. We negotiated for Sommer for over a month and managed to bring down his fee from €6m to €6.75m somehow managing to pay above the player's release clause - something I've never seen before in my life.

Knowing the speed at which we work, we will not officially sign Augusto until right after the season opener next week, where he will undoubtedly assist Caldirola for a late game-winning goal.
