Good win. Impressive first half, killed the game and lowered the tempo on second. I like when the team is on fire throughout the whole game but I think it's not the time yet. We need to build it and get to peak performance, top tempo in the 2nd half of the season.
I still remember 2 seasons ago we were the winter champions with amazing performance on the first half of the season and just peaked too early and dropped performance when it really mattered.
Great goal from Toro and with a bit more luck we had another couple in.

guys, be honest with these fif player ratings. Miki and Barella played the majority of the game and got 5.3 ratings, and Sensi, played 8 minutes and gets 6. Or even Frattesi played 20 minutes and gets higher ratings.

I don't like the idea of subbing our two wingbacks all at once. It changes the dynamics of the game too much and it worked against us in the 2nd half. We are early in the season so maybe Inzaghi is deliberately giving equal playing time to the new comers to settle into the system?

Ratings don’t seem too out of place. Barella was a spectator the whole game, and Miki ran out of energy in the second half, following a good 45, and started making silly errors.

I gave them both a 6, but 5 isn’t unreasonable.

yet both contributed to 2:0 game in the first half. guys who play 8-10 minutes should not even be rated.

I was about to write what game did CDS watch, Dimarco a 6.5 absolutely no chance he was average at best his game was fundamentally saved by that one pass otherwise it was largely a forgettable night. Barella and Mkhi was also not great really 5.5 is the right score for them.


Thuram, Lautaro and Dumfries where the better players followed by De Vrij and Hakan.

Good first half. Not so good second half. The boys definitely took their foot off the pedal and Cagliari were pressing hard for a goal. 3 points is 3 points though.

Our record v Cagliarli over the last 4 years shows we turn up in first half not second, we've scored the only goal(s) in the first half off all these games since roughly 2019.

The second half for me wasn't as boring I enjoyed the whole game, fitness right now is important.

We don’t really have the sort of players that result in our team we will go out and create 10 chances every game. It’s obvious not Perisic, Hakimi we have on the wing nor a Sneijder in the midfield, that is why we are dependent on efficiency because our players aren’t exactly the most creative, the best dribler etc.

Frattesi is good example he fundamentally just tried to bulldoze himself through, it wasn’t exactly elegant.
