Consindering the quality of our opponent, this was one of our worst matches ever. After the first 25 min. the whole team sucked.

Should've brought in Eder for Icardi. Once Nagatomo was out, conceding a goal looked like just a matter of time.

I don't understand why you guys are so mad anybody thinking we're going to coast these types of games this season is delusional. I still stand by what I said, Spalletti isn't enough. Our squad does not have enough quality! We're slowly getting to the tipping point from what I can see. I'm glad we won but let's be realistic, we're going to struggle to get that CL spot. Let's just hope we stay in the picture come January, where I expect us to get players who can actually make a difference.

Another disappointing performance, this time against the worst team in the league.
I keep wondering why we continue to play 4-2-3-1 when, imho, it's clear that this formation leaves huge gaps between our players, thus allowing the opposition to find spaces to run into every time we are dispossessed. And moreover, our offensive production is still crap (we did slightly better today only because Benevento's defence is serie B material); our wings play too wide and they almost never cut inside, leaving Icardi too isolated in the middle of the box to battle against the opposition's CBs. Brozovic did OK today, but still we were not good enough.
So, in summary, we are making a lot more points than we deserve, but our lucky streak won't last forever. We must play better football than this or, if that's too much to ask, at least more wisely.

We need new players and we need to change the way we are playing. Our midfileders are the weakest link in our game by far. I still dont know how in hell does Valero and Vecino start over Mario and Gags.

I really dont get what impact do people see from Vecino and Valero - our two main midfielders.

At least with Brozovic you get goals man. He always complains when he doesnt get the ball, fucks up attacking play, but you can see it clearly what he does good or bad, with these two fuckers i dont get it. I really dont. And come to think, they benched Gags, Mario and Bro... like we bought Modric and Kroos.

There isnt one thing that Valero has done the last 3 or 4 games. And if someone gives me the "he is tired" shit - FUCK YOU, he plays once a week and he is professional football player. People need to wake up. Stop just booing Candreva, what candreva does is that he sucks whenever he tries to cross, Valero doesnt do shit. He was brought here to bring stability in the midfield, and we havent seen that yet. Not good at anything. Zero.

As for connecting passes, even i can do that. Get the ball from Miranda, pass it to Skriniar, get it back from Skriniar, pass it to Vecino, get it from Vecino, pass it to Dambro... man im tired of people being blind when it comes to valero just because of the fact that he was hyped from our management before we bought him. Same goes to vecino.

In no universe mario and gags are subs to these two. Even at fiorentina last year, if they had these four, gags and mario would start always. We took Gags from an Atalanta side that was playing manly football, and gags was one of their best in the midfield, even got italy call up, and while we got that player... we are playing an old slugish good-for-nothing fucker.

Also... we are faaaaaar behind juve, napoli, roma even fucking lazio. If we dont buy 3+ players this winter. Forget champions league.

As we are playing right now, napoli, juve, lazio and even some midtable teams will fuck us. We dont create good chances... and on the counter even a serie d team can score against us.

At least one positive from players perspective: Despite Perisic's and Icardi's bad game, some other players stepped up. Brozo and Nagatomo. Skriniar has already proved he's worthy from the beginning.

Negative for Spaletti: Eder wasn't rewarded with a single minute of playing.

And if you decide to retreat after having 2-0, at least do it properly. Don't forget that Benevento were probably robbed for a clear goal.

I think what we need is new formation. Compare to Lazio I believe we have better squad. They win with big margin and good football. Maybe our player will be better with other formation, a change from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 worth a try.

And please man, you already called Dalbert disaster after some minutes in his serie A.

But it seems like there is always a gap between the defense and the midfield when we are being attacked. That and players like Perisic and Icardi need to get their shit together, they're supposedly our best players yet they were the worst on the pitch, the missed lots of chances combined with stupid decisions.

I'm optimistic this wont be another Mancini season, we are playing way better, but the attacking trio need to get their shit together.

Our first 20 minutes was the massive improvement compared to our previous matches as our attackers kept moving and interchanged with other players. I don't know how our rhythm suddenly died out after our 2nd goals. Taking off the pedal seems like not a proper reason especially after their goal. The players had woken up and we seemed to make our best effort, but just clueless to replicate our finest minutes.

The silver lining of this match is Candreva's performance. He was just like different player when he wasn't fixated on the right wing and insisting to deliver crosses after crosses. I don't know why Spalleti took him out, but he can keep up his performance, I will not mind having him as our starter.

We need to remember that this is new team. We are not Milan (thank god) that changed the entire line up, but we have new midfield and more important, we have new coach after a season with 4 coaches that did nothing. Spalletti need to build this team, and it takes time. I think pepole here overracting, we weren't shit today. Im sure we we'll get better, but again, it take time and petience.

I hope for a new Midfielder in January and of course a 3rd CB.
