fuck em all
Have to disagree with you. With the right formation the player will feel more comfortable and play better football. One of our problem is Icardi being Mark by 2 or more players. I think with 2 striker formation, someone like Eder will help ease Icardi jobs.
The mentality thing is half right. I think we have some players with right mentality to success.

it all comes down what you are instructed by your coach.. formation is for paper... and no one can tell me those players are instructed to play like this ... you can put whatever formation you want and give players same instrucions so formation means shit for me

I have to agree with both Rasha and Tombatu. Formations are important bud sadly they don't apply to Inter world. I mean, we have very limited quality players for the executions. We looked so good in the training camp, with all tika-taka displays, so much fun n joy, but in real match, we're looked more like a headless turtle ( slow and clueless + monotone ), at least for the last few matches. All of sudden, their basic football knowledge, just disappear. Maybe we should request to FIGC to ban all supporters who came to the stadium. Or at least make lesser noises during our match, so our players do not freak out like having C4 on their feet

The problem is Valero. And not, not saying it's his fault. But the guy is made to be our Pirlo and no matter what we do, we cannot succeed with it. Hence he's almost useless. No idea what we learned from the pre-season.
Candreva is also a huge problem which is obvious. It's like saying the best porn-actor can cum twice and did it awesome. Was the rest a good show? Performed for like two seconds.

BUT!!!

I have great hopes for this team. I trust Spaletti. Skriniar again is amazing. Officially my favorite player. Screw your parents!

you realise we have won 6 out of 7 right? and are unbeaten right? and joint 2nd right? just 2pts of 1st right?

but yeah this valero experiment is not succeeding......

Vecino has been seriously underwhelming, Gagliardini came on and gave us some life.

agree, i thought vecino ruled it. I was unimpressed by Valero yesterday but I thought vecino was great. the only game where he's actually impressed me

I think a lot of people are exaggerating a bit over our performance yesterday. We were pretty good for the initial 25-30 mins scoring twice and at that point it looked like we would be cruising to a victory without to many problems. Now here is when our problems started our players started to save energy and try to play it safe which big surprise went terribly wrong as it always does with us. And once we took out tempo and intensity we were incapable to increase it again once they scored and we started to look shaky. At least we were incapable to raise it to the level that we played before we scored the second one. Imho this is our biggest weakness and it is what separates us from the big boys. Look at jube and napoli they can take out intensity and tempo in a match where they lead without taking out to much and most of the time it looks like they can raise it again at any point when they need it. We on the other hand usually start struggling once we try to conserve energy and we cant just raise intensity from one moment to the next just like we usually cant keep it up for 90 mins

That being said i still think the mancini comparisons are unfair back then we completly lost it when we got scored on, now we still struggle but imho we keep our shit together way better than during the last two seasons when we simply stopped playing once we got scored on. Anyways bottom line we are still struggling and we still have a lot of the flaws from last season but imho we are clearly better than last season not by a mile but we are better and still moving in the right direction. Also it seems like people expect us to play like rube or Napoli atm which is a lot to ask you dont go from playing crap and finishing 7 to playing champagne football and being in the top 4 within 5/6 months shit takes time.

On a lighter note we won every game when i was wearing official inter gear during the game, was wearing a inter shirt for every game except for the bologna one, what makes it even weirder is that i changed into an inter shirt at the half time of Roma Inter. Anyways i m not superstitious but i m gonna be wearing an inter shirt during all the games from now on till we lose/draw one of those games, just in case.
Also i would guess that this will last max till the napoli game.

i guess our problem yesterday was the psychological approach.

at the beginning, it was perfect: let's do it quick --> two goals.

then it was horrible, cause we were too relaxed and we panicked after their goal.

being benevento such a horrible team (basically a mid-table serie B side), it's quite clear to me that it was just US creating problems to ourselves.

As in when it comes to usual stuff, i dont believe in any of this shit. Neither do i now believe that me wearing the shirt influences how we play, but it s much like we like to stick to the same people opening match threads when hey are on a hot streak.

We're playing like ass right now and to ignore that just because our record is nice is idiotic.

We absolutely must improve the way we're playing, but we're in a great position which means Spaletti and the players can simply focus on getting better and not have to deal with the pressure that they were under last year.

it's funny how people generally criticize both vecino and gagliardini when they are playing in the 2 man midfield with Valero. I like Valero but we have to start admitting that he is a very limited player and puts a tremendous burden on the midfielder playing alongside him. I don't doubt Valero's quality or ability but its no coincidence that whoever plays alongside him, tends to get tepid reviews.

We need to get more creative. Benevento had a great defensive game plan - they had both CBs locked in tight on icardi, double teaming him as soon as he touched the ball. Perisic was getting the 'messi' or 'robben' treatment where whenever he would get the ball on the wing, the fullback would take away the end line and a midfielder was immediately there to provide the double team and cut off perisic's ability to cut inside.

We'll see these defensive efforts to neutralize icardi and perisic again and again. What do we do when we see them - especially if we have ill-suited CAMs (brozo the most suited but so inconsistent), no forward running mids and one completely useless winger? we desperately need more intent through the midfield.

We have a bunch of midfielders who, with different characteristics, are pretty much all suited for a 3-man line.

We don't have a strootman nor a nainggolan

Brozovic is the most talented, but I don't see him running 95' and doing a lot of dirt work like nainggolan.

Gags is probably the closest we have to a nainggolan, but he's being inconsistent.

What we have is probably best suited for a 4 3 3

How poetic. They let you choose what you feel

- - - Updated - - -

But seriously, it's part of a chant, it continues with "neroblù", which isn't quite correct as we are nerazzurri (azzurro is lighter than blue) but it's an artistic license I guess.

of course it influences it. but now you messed it up and if we lose the next game it will be entirely on your shoulders.
if you don't wear it and we lose, well, it is clear. if you do wear it and we lose, is still your fault because clearly you were just pretending.

why was this game so hard...well because Benevento had 0 points at the time(still do) and they gave their all in to it...because they have nothing to lose and all to lose at the same time, which makes them dangerous in the future...every game they fail,in the next they gonna give more and more work in to it...until they start "clipping away" points from better teams...and they will...for sure
