Every team who gets knocked out gets made fun of, it is what it is. Its really just Juve, Milan, and La Liga fan boys. I've always found it absolutely bizarre how Juve and Milan fans love each other. In what other league do two top clubs glaze each other the way those two fanbases do? It makes it increasingly bizarre given that both of them say we're a distant third in Italy yet they have so much disdain for us. Regardless, we cannot expect to go deep into UCL every year. It's just not the way the sport is anymore. If you arent Bayern, RM, Barca, or an EPL club it is not realistic. Italian teams are never going to *consistently* compete in UCL ever again. There will be years like last year where we had two teams in the semis but that is the exception, not the rule. And despite what Juve fans say, they will never compete consistently in UCL either.

i wouldn't read much into what blian and rube fans say. it would be weird if they didn't celebrate our loss. bilan will forever be our lil bros, it's literally the game i'm most confident of winning even more than the relegation teams. rube are just thieves. every single thing they will always comes with an asterix so it is what it is.

I know we had the missed opportunities by Barella and Thuram, but i think we played bad in general, i think we should have changed the game possibly by changing our formation. I havnt made it a secret that i dont like 352.

So basically Limone and players need to reach final of CL every fucking season so that our shitty owners doesnt need to sell our best players. This is mission impossible. If Inzaghi is smart he should leave the club and find healthy club to achieve more greatness.
We should look for rich Arab owner. Otherwise it’s going to be the same shit every year.

Big money owner period sounds good to me. I don't care where he's from, where his money is from, where he lives, etc. If he has a burning desire to win and has deep pockets then that is the combination I think this club deserves.

Is there any chance this is, I dunno, Fratelli di Calciopoli thing or something? Thinking they were the clubs mostly unfairly ostracized (in their eyes) from that? Or does the seeming Juve/Milan "enemy of my enemy" alliance predate that?

Let's engage in a bit of hindsight analysis 😅

Following the first game, it was evident that Atletico Madrid easily countered the strengths of Mkhi and Calha. I'm puzzled why Mkhi is consistently deployed in routine Serie A matches, risking fatigue for crucial moments. While a fresh Mkhi may not have altered this specific match's outcome, I fail to understand Simone's perspective on this, seriously :/

In addition to them neutralizing the flow of our midfield, we committed uncharacteristic individual errors, particularly in defense.

The substitution of Bastoni seemed illogical. As for Klassen, his role remains unclear, and his minutes could be better utilized by a promising youngster from our youth squad. Or the more I think about it, just no sub, let whoever you're planning to sub out for Klassen stay. At least they're in the zone, an in sync with the rythm of the match, Klassen does literally nothing.

Lautaro performed well, creating scoring opportunities and fulfilling the role of supporting striker, this comes to him understanding that he couldnt do anything more a striker, especially after that header :/, it's unfortunate that Thuram and Barella couldn't convert thieir chances, especially Thuram. Regarding the penalty miss, it's understandable since Lautaro isn't our primary penalty taker, i seriouly laughed at that, shoiuld't but I did :D

While football is undoubtedly a profession, enjoying the game is essential. Thuram's casual attitude, especially after attempting flashy moves, is disappointing. At some point my man needs to realize that not all passes have to be heel passes. And that literall attack on Savic? WTF MAN? If Savic had chosen to lay down and scream in pain, and VAR got involved - that would've been direct red card for Thuram. What was so funny about it?

Overall, we attempted to stay true to our season-long playing style. However, it seems Simone overlooked issues highlighted after the first Atletico game, most probably attributing them to a one-off occurrence; bad game for Claha, anonimous game for Mkhi, can happen to anyone, anytime. This oversight proved costly. If I were to pinpoint one key issue, it's our midfield.

Having said all that, I'm relieved we're out sooner rather later. Finish the season strong now. More experience for the boys.

You know, I was processing this today, and I think a generally unsaid reason why the disappointment is deep this time is because we all want to see more of this Inzaghi Inter.

Feels cruel that the year we’re playing this fantastic champagne football we get knocked out of both the Coppa Italia and the CL relatively early, robbing us of more games.

The Scudetto is basically on ice, we've got the break coming up...there's not much else at stake once we return. Just the slow march to the second star. We needed more CL games to keep the run-in spicy.

With the new format it’s going to harm Italian football to in a unprecedented way… Italian football is broke and the new format heavily benefits the wealthiest clubs… It’s going to be years before we see any Italian team in a semifinal.

This team has no future we all know this to be true, as there no young players most are plus 26 years now with huge chunk over 30. We only have a team for the now, the future look incredible dim as we don’t have a bend euro to invest and replace the players that are peaking now, realities is we need to Sell Martinez and for the next young player, don’t and they loose to much value meaning we get far less potential.

The idea we can keep our players is idiotic it’s time to cash in while we still can.
Fuck mate, who shat in your cereal?

I think Beppe has every intention of picking young core players, Bisseck, Frattesi. Squad is not built over night - and if rumours are true Camarda could be the next Lautaro. Who knows but relaxxx.

You must be new Inter fan, there was a time we didnt win Serie for a decade, and watch the best player in the world get frozen out because of a shit coach to only leave us when he got fit for Real Madrid. We have been through worse....#KeepCalmAndBreathe.

Separately anyone who suggest we need to sell because last year UCL income was 100M and this year, 60M?

Its silly anyone who is reporting forecast would assume the guarantee. e.g Group Stages. Anything above that is windfall - If they didnt, fuck me its negligent on their part and should be dismissed.

We can only pick when we sell, we only got those because we sold Onana, Pinamonti and Brozovic , without those sale we would have neither.

We can only purchase when we sell, this has been the premises ever transfer market since Conte left.

Reality is unchanged we need to sell to invest and if we don’t sell our assets when they are at the peak, we would have less money to invest. This is why Martinez needs to be sold this summer he peaked his value, for a 100ish million we could get better prospects than the Frattesi that will never be anything to rave about or never create much profit.

If you run the value down by keeping them that means you can get less in the future, or milk cow is entirely our ability to sell our players when they peak in value. Of that reason I’m sure we are going to see one or two being sold this summer.

Also let’s not forget Simeone only lost 5 out of his 50 CL games, Only Mou and Guardiola managed that… he isn’t very easy to beat when it comes to CL

I am confused - We lost because Simeone and Atletico is one the best sides in Europe and we are not good enough?

If that is your argument, I completely disagree.

We lost because simple did not perform on the night. It was our worst performance of the season. Inzaghi made mistakes with his tactics and choices of subs, but overall, the team was void of energy and intensity and generally made poor decisions all night.

I mark it as L, an exception and not the norm and move on.
