This seems to happen in a lot of sports, where coaches just have guys that they love to use even though everyone else can see how limited and, through their usage rates, ineffective they are, and with guys like that, you just need to do whatever you can to trade them or (in this sport's case) sell them and take that toy away from the coach. Obviously, selling Gags is a little more complicated than that, I'm well aware. But whatever it takes for him to be sold, it needs to happen. Nothing personal, but his presence combined with Conte's affection for him is a fucking problem for this club and it's desired objectives.

If we all keep comparing our season to Conte's salary then we might as well give up now, yes if you pay someone that much you'd expect something more, a lot more however it isn't guarenteed and we shouldn't be angry/upset if we are top all season winning every game, because (not you, im just replying as you mentioned) a lot of people think this and expect this, its just not realistic.

Also I couldn't care less if Conte picks Hakimi or Darmian or puts DDA there w/e, he's the coach, how about we all just get behind him and support him/our team.. after all we are.. supporters?

Why the fuck would you not try to utilize that by using the best offensive wingback in the game against that kind of weak link? These decisions (like subbing Gagliardini for Barella, not Vidal against Real, for instance) just reek of incompetence or, perhaps worse, indifference.
