Anyway good game, he did misplace some passes but for a kid making his debut it's not really a bad performance however there's a lot to build on. He does have a certain confidence remember him burning Van Ginkel only to pass the ball back but still that was pretty fun to watch.

Are you guys for real? This performance alone is pretty much better than 90% of our midfielders' in the past 3 or 4 years.. He didn't fuck up and get red carded like Obi, actually moved with the game and didn't just run around like an idiot like Gargano, didn't lose the ball and kill every attack like Guarin, didn't try to over complicate things like Hernanes, actually got forward at times and tried to create chances unlike Medel, didn't try to turn every attack we have into a goal, like Kovacic. He was by no means perfect, but he is young and will get better.

Give the kid a chance. For once don't loan him away, keep him, and save the money you were going to waste on a Toulalan or an old Yaya Toure coming in for his last big pay check. Goku can only go up from here and in two years of patience and faith, what he will be able to offer us will >>>> what they could.

that was a great debut. amazing composure, and he actually has the balls to try to pass forward. Yes, they dont always come off, but that's the inherent risk with a forward pass.

He was very mobile as well, and at times really impressed me with his off the ball movement (attacking). Defensive side less so.

About Medel Nyall its not his job to dart forward, however you're right about Goku's (I love the name btw) forward runs it was something that even Kovacic wasn't moving forward Goku actually was. Given time, he's only going to get stronger right now he's a little lanky but give him a summer of good solid training and he'll be stronger and even more confident. However what's important is that the kid keeps his feet firmly on the ground however just a year ago he wasn't even signed to a club and in the middle of the pitch he played in the ivory coast there was a tree so I'm betting he'll stay humble since he came this far he won't want to fuck up.

How many Inter players have a great debut like him? A youngster in a derby making a debut earning a standing ovation from the crowd. There was once in 2nd half when he covered the ball against 3 Milan players and managed to release himself. One game may not say much but the way he played is sort of what needed for this team.

Solid debut from an 18 year old, and looked poised throughout the match. He didn't do anything drastic, and was hardly in trouble. Sure he made a bad pass or 2, but his attempts on the longer passes was nice to see. I'd like to see more of him ahead of Kuz Kuz that's for sure. Absolutely nothing to lose, and will aid in his developement.
